Jumpers! What are your post-Spark plans?
>>
>>51545103
Exterminate the non saiyans.
>>
>>51545103
Come home, secretly remove Kim Jong fatass from NK and take over, make it into a post scarcity paradise then open it to the world over time. At the same time I'll become president of the US and, at the beginning of my second term, reveal that I am also the one responsible for NK and see what happens. After I'm done with home earth I'll fake my death then make an army of saiyans in the Dragon Ball universe. No I won't do what >>51545131 did. I'm not speciest.
>>
>>51545103
Give my family and friends enough resources to make their lives comfortable. I'll then sit back and tinker until they're all dead and leave this world to continue my journey.
I'll make sure to go to the Kamen Rider world a couple of times a year to train the new Riders and help with the crossover level threats.
>>
>>51545180
To be fair I was going to do it by making all the humans into Saiyans.
>>
>>51545348
Well that's just a given. Why wouldn't you turn everyone into best race?
>>
So, we're not getting MCU2, are we?
>>
>>51545103
Well first take care of any lingering plots in my past worlds then find Ugin and have him teach me colorless magic and have a fight with Bolas.

After that maybe refine my planeswalking until I can find specific altworlds(i.e. various fanfictions)?

Visit settings that I couldn't visit in the chain. Empower myself in in an alternate dimension by sending him into another chain.

Turn all the people on the Earth into tea.
>>
>>51539312
They all start at the same strength yes.

I'd imagine he potentially could, though I also imagine it's terribly hard in comparison to what it would be like for the original races.

>>51539830
A Majin CAN but it doesn't mean they WILL. The races are all priced on the numberand strength of the innate abilities they start with. Majin is mostly that high because of the absorb, though they have a range of useful traits, while Cell is that high because they get multiple other races stuff. If I was pricing Buu on the assumption that they'd automatically get every other power by eating them all, I just wouldn't have offered it.

I believe Buu also can only take on the actual abilities, as in transformations or genetic abilities rather then raw ki and techniques/skills, of people one at a time by specifically morphing into them.

>>51541743
The former would'nt help much, as it only comes into play post encounter.
>>
>>51545103
Continue travelling the multiverse, amassing power and using Majin to absorb as many nigh-omnipotent beings as I can.
>>
>>51545103
Cry. I'll miss jumpchan.

For those of you who want to take an alien race in dragon Ball Multiverse. Just remember that the real deal is far more creepy than the anime.

From an official Dragon Ball setup they had in DiverCity last year for the Resurrection F arc in Super. Zoom in and look at all those veinsYes, his mouth did move when talking and while I didn't get a bic of the inside it was an off-coloured human-like mouth.

Oh, you know-the usual. Catch up with a few old friends, settle some old scores, get that promotion I've been yearning for, work hard, play hard and finally replace every Americanised Chinese food franchise in existence with food so authentic it'll literally be delivered from a portal straight outta Sichuan. Or Guangzhou. Or wherever. It'll be fresh, is what I'm saying.

...

...what? That war against the Outer Gods isn't gonna be won in a day, you know. Might as well live it up and achieve everything I've been put into this ridiculous calvalcade of existences to before doing something that'll probably cost me dearly.

Hey Val, I haven't seen Dragon Ball in forever, when was Frieza's race called Frost Demons? I can understand why, I just haven't heard them called that before.

>>
>>51545709
They weren't, in canon at least. It's the most popular fan name for them to my knowledge and it's what the Multiverse comic decided to call them since calling them Frieza's Race is awkward as heck.
>>
We can turn off perks right?
>>
>>51545709
>Frost Demons
Obviously I'm not Val but Cell calls them that in Xenoverse but otherwise they're always referred to as Frieza's Race in any official work.
>>
>>51545733
Seems kinda odd to wait 20ish years just to out-meme magic another man desu
>>

>>
>>51545103
I'm going to arrange it so Donald Trump becomes President in every one of the infinite timelines. So that dimension and time travelers will find it is the only absolute constant in the multiverse.

>>51545435
Quick question about the Cell option. Do you start in the first or perfect stage? Wondering if I'd be responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths by choosing it.

Oh and is the bought version of Kaio-ken superior to what you'd be able to do by just learning it the old fashioned way?
>>
>>51545991
Power wise? First stage. Appearance wise? Whatever you want, so long as it's Celly.

Not particularly.

>>51546062

I'm also going to create beings to police the timeline to prevent anyone from altering it.

>>
>>51545274

>>
>>51546228
Then in that case do we have to take free perks? The Bulging Muscles I get from the 80s Action Movies Jump don't fit my perfect female form.
>>
>>51546214
I've gone over this multiple times. Ain't gotta explain shit, anon.
>>
>>51546314

Does 1000 years seem reasonable? It'd be nice for my Companions to also share in the rewards of the chain. I think that with all of the similar perks available, there's an argument at least for it not to take eons, even if it does take awhile.

>>
I know it's not exactly proper form to post these kind of questions so late in the thread, but I'm curios about something.

What is your benefactor like in your chain? Personality wise I mean.

As I've been writing my own chain, I've come to realize that I get too hung up on making the "lore" of my chain seem unique and quirky. Usually resulting in aspects of the process being over-explained and generally making the writing much less fun.

But it got me wondering about how other people go about writing the more ambiguous parts of the chain, mainly how they interact with their benefactor, if at all.

Unless you're doing it the Bancho's way and brainwash everyone into your twisted idea of Justice. Then you were the evil all along.

>>51546658
Oldwalker spark is a way beyond that. But at that point you can probably improve SB a lot by pairing it with other perks and abilities that you have developed.
>>
>>51546639
I don't exactly see why. It's not that powerful, just a way to travel between worlds. We already have similar perks, and that kind of thing's not that big of a deal except in the context of our rules.

>>
>>51546721
Not all Oldwalkers. What you're describing is an Oldwalker that has spent thousands of years studying and amassing power. And even then they wouldn't be anywhere near of the top guns in some universes, mainly those of literature and anime, who enjoy casual omniversal destruction and being above all concepts is the basis to enter.

They're no-where near from being omnipotent. Not even in their own setting.

We don't really speak that much. It made me the offer at the beggining in return of a small favor , which we previously agreed that didn't included something like eternal slavery, fusing with it or it taking my shit away from me at the end, and usually only appears to handle me key information.

Unlike many other Jump-chans around here, my Benefactor prefers to remain strictly profesional and rarely makes any comments. It seems interested in me jumping for a long time, but refuses to ask any question that I may present.

Overall, it is kind of a dick, but it isn't working to undermine me and isn't really annoying. Yet sometimes I can't get rid of the feeling of someone watching me, specially when I am at my worst.

*Crown of Thunders (400)

Drawbacks:
*Past lives matter (+200)

(So as I stated previously, I do not know exalted, I hope I didn’t screw up too badly.

Journal Entry # 180991

Wow I seem to be on the same world but in a different way. Now I am working for the Yozi and I have a very old, very cranky Solar in my head. He doesn’t appear to be a big fan of mine. Anyways the Yozi want me to free them and help them return to their Primorial state but I have no idea how the hell I am supposed to do that. I feel like I was handed a slingshot and told to go bring down the United States government… ugh now that cranky old bastard laughs.

I can’t wait for the next decade when he gets flushed out and I return to having only my voice in my head. I thought they were supposed to be dignified and noble. I am very tempted to sing the song that never ends over and over to myself just to torture him. He Keeps trying to snag control of my body way when I am distracted. I have talked to Kotomine about removing him but he says that it might interfere with my new powers at best and at worst do damage to my soul. Which sounds pretty bad. So for now I have a guest in my brain. One who is a very annoying obnoxious guest.

Journal Entry # 18120

Well he finally did, it. The stupid solar managed to use my body and cause a lot of trouble before my companions could stop him and now there is a demon hunt after me. I am using what charms I can to hide out but I can’t stay in one place for too long. The he thinks he has won but in a few years he is just going to be a bad memory.

Not in Jumpchain. You don't die in Jumpchain, you just get sent home. Or you activate a 1-up perk. Either way, you're not really dead. If the event that "killed" you was particularly traumatic, that might influence the Inner World given that there is some slight unconscious influence on their form, but there won't be any inherent change just from dying.

>>51547274
Spirit of the Living World, from Exalted. It's a Heretical Infernal charm that lets you build a little pocket universe, the Inner World, inside your soul. There's no actual limit on the Inner World's size, you just have to expand it personally using your power over it. It's pretty cool, as a result, a lot of people have big sweeping plans for things to do in their Inner Worlds.

Charms are just the magic powers in Exalted. They're everything that is based on manipulating your mystical energies directly instead of through ritual sorcery (or thaumaturgy, sorcery's very little brother). Most magic falls into the realm of charms. As for Spirit of the Living World, without one of the perks in the jump, traveling to it yourself is an astral projection thing. You're present in the Inner World at the same time you're present in the regular world, you can't just vanish from reality. However, it is possible to move things in and out of it, so it can be used as storage. Things can live in it, but the only things that can travel in it between jumps are your Companions and creatures that you have created. There aren't many limits to the Inner World itself, the main one is that you have to personally create it. It can be as big as you want, but be ready to spend some time expanding it. Otherwise, the only limit is that you can't create magical things inside it, at least not with just the powers to shape it that the charm grants. But Infernals have a lot of charms to create and shape magical things, so it's not actually a major limitation. And of course, out of jump abilities can remove that restriction even further.

If you actually die, it just dies with you.

1-ups and such won't do much of anything, neither would dying and getting send home. Only final death.

>Can you go there physically or do you create a kind of mental/spiritual representation of yourself while inside?
With only the Charm, the latter. Though it's a physical place, so dimension-hopping stuff can get you there.

With the perk enhancing it, you can just step inside your world easily.

>Can you put things in there?
Yes.

>Let things live there?
Yes. Though it won't carry non-companions out of their jumps.

Inactive companions can chill there, as long as they are descended from you in some ways. (creations, children, Exalted demons, and such)

>What are the limits of it?
Mainly the time you're willing to spend shaping it.

>What's a charm and how do they work?
They're the supernatural powers the Exalted have. Each does one specific thing (either permanently, or with a cost and duration), and you just learn them.

Here you go, just caught up to the thread when I saw one of my jumps being discussed. Busily writing this in the meantime.

One write-up of the Rogue of Light for English. Sorry for taking so long, didn't have any time to check the thread before now.

Rogue of Light would steal Luck, Fortuitous outcomes, and Knowledge, as well as steal through those, mainly to redistribute them to others.

So you'd be doing stuff much like Vriska, but you know, not hogging all the Light for yourself. You'd be making your allies (and yourself to a less extent) luckier, while simultaneously bringing misfortune to your enemies. You'd be shuffling the deck in terms of luck, and basically be a living lucky charm for your team (or you could flip-flop everyone's luck at your every whim).

Stealing knowledge would likely make you a damn good spy, getting whatever information your side needs. Distractions would be something that'd be very natural too, since Light's also seems to be associated with the metaphorical spotlight/relevance of things, allowing you to make people focus on something else to sneak around. Or just bringing someone ignored into the spotlight to be nice.

You'd catch lucky breaks to steal things, come across intel for heists or shinies to steal easily, and pull incredibly unlikely thefts off.

Might be able to do something with sight too, blinding your enemies and letting your allies (or yourself) see more clearly.

How's that?

>Yeah, sorry. Every other Exalt has Terrestrial sorcery, Celestial sorcery, etc, that are functionally identical, just some can reach higher than others.
Fair enough, yeah. The other Exalts have identical, interchangeable Sorcery. So you could probably buy Terrestrial sorcery in Dragon-Blooded and jump immediately to Celestial sorcery in Sidereals or Lunars or Abyssals, and then to Solar sorcery in Solars. Same as a mortal Terrestrial sorcerer could jump immediately from that to Celestial after exalting.

It's just that Infernals are being weird using a different system, so it doesn't work for them.

>But from strictly reading the Infernals book, you could take the initiation of one Yozi at essence 3, and at essence 4 repurchase the charm, but for another Yozi you have the Excellency for, and be Celestial Circle, with the Initiation options of both.
Nope. Sorcerous Enlightenment of Malfeas is NOT the same charm as Sorcerous Enlightenment of Adorjan or vice versa.

Different pre-reqs, different name, and only bundled together in the book because they're near-identical, even if technically seperate things.

So you couldn't buy the second purchase of a Yozi if you had the first purchase of another Yozi, only if you had the first purchase of the same Yozi.

He's megalomaniacal as fuck and has an unhealthy obsession with doing away with Superman so humanity can stand up by itself.

Generally, while he might be ultimate benevolent/well intentioned, those two traits make him nothing more than a regular supervillain.

Note that different versions take him in different directions. Some Luthors border on anti-villainy/anti-heroism, while others are genuinely evil and just delude themselves into thinking they have any reason or cause beyond their own ego for getting rid of Superman.

Well, these are the names of the various Dynastic Houses:

House Cathak: fire-aspected; militant expansionists; very disciplined.
House Cynis: wood-aspected; idle hedonists and politicians.
House Iselsi: water-aspected; almost exterminated; sneaky survivors and spymasters.
House Ledaal: air-aspected; far-thinking strategists.
House Mnemon: earth-aspected; devout believers; strongest family.
House Nellens: no aspect; scorned for their common-tainted blood.
House Peleps: water-aspected; conniving merchants, politicians and sailors.
House Ragara: earth-aspected; financiers with everyone in their debt.
House Sesus: fire-aspected; militant and specialized.
House Tepet: air-aspected; recently suffered a devastating military loss.
House V’neef: wood-aspected; adaptable; the youngest House.

He has the vague impression that -something- is controlling where he goes and when, but other than that, all he knows is that he skips from universe to universe every 10 years or so, and sometimes 'wakes up' to having lived an entire life there, and sometimes he just appears.
Dropping in always throws him for a loop for a little while, while he gets used to the new stuff he picked up.

For that anon who was wondering how to combine properties like buildings and theme parks:

The way I do it is use Preserve The Land from Legend of Mana to convert the two buildings into an item.
The perk says "The object used in the sealing process must be related in some way to the land being stored within.", but with Thrifty Thaumaturgy from Young Justice you should be able to substitute them for whatever items you like - such as two identical swords (since the ritual doesn't specify a specific item).

Then use whichever combining process you like, like Duct Tape Fusion or the Armsfusion Crafter to merge the two otherwise-identical swords together.

Then take them somewhere you want to deposit your combined properties, and reverse Preserve The Land. That should result in a single property with the best features of both.
At least, that's how I fanwank it working.

Now if only I could think of a way to give the properties of a pocket dimension to an in-setting building...

Nope. The elements are just the prevailing trends in those houses.

But you can expect some people to look at you oddly if you don't, since they believe a different Aspect's a sign of impurity in the Dragon's blood (it's not, Dragon-Blooded are just bad at their eugenics programs).

Except for House Mnemon. Their members Exalt too often to make weak blood an option, and Mnemon herself will take personal offence if anyone would question the purity of her bloodline.

>>
>>51548592
I've always been fond of plant manipulation, so "Wood" would be my element of choice. Lots of cool stuff you can do with control over plants.
>>
>>51548588
I'm glad that you asked. The jumper can actually still die and fail the chain, but after that jump-chan will simply choose another version of him, whose personality is conveniently different in a way that ensures he won't make the same mistakes.
>>
>>51548346
So going off of what I've read in the books, I'd have to rank the aspects' houses:

Earth > Fire > Water > Air > Wood

Water and Air are similar in that they kinda only have one REAL House, but Air is fucked over worse since at least there's a theme/gambit to Iselsi that makes being a member interesting. Tepet on the other hand? Generic military house with no distinguishing features, they're near extinct, AND there's no special gambit or anything they're pulling involving their status. Air really DOES just have one viable House, and it sucks. It doesn't help Ledaal that they're the sorcery house when sorcery kinda sucks and they only have the lower circle of sorcery available to them. So they're not good either.

Wood is lowest because Cynis a shit. Worst house. V'neef is okay but they're itty bitty tiny.

Study the lore and WING IT, because game mechanics are completely botched so that you can have Jinx, a crazy chick with guns, able to gun down Aurelion Sol, mister "I CAN MAKE SUNS IN MY HAND, BITCH."

have http://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/ to help with that. It's what Riot has been using to try and build up some of their lore.

If you go with the Institute of War story? Fairly low with what you can get in-jump.

Journal Entry # 18990

I remember growing up as a little girl I used to love tales of Disney princesses. You always imagine yourself a beautiful princess waiting for some white knight to come rescue you and sweep you off your feet…

I am here, the princess of my dreams, captured by the evil wizard, being held hostage while my friends fight their way through his minions whom they will undoubtedly beat.

Why does it all feel so wrong? Why do I feel like crying. I just feel so dirty and empty.

Can’t I even have this silly little dream?

Journal Entry # 18992

We won, I was rescued the evil Kotomine was vanquished (well acknowledged his defeat and promised not to do it again) everything ended pretty neatly and Wonderland was saved. I am trying to smile for everyone. Trying to pretend to be happy; maybe it’s being around all these friendly nonhumans…

My companions seem concerned but haven’t pressed the issue. Kotomine has told me that perhaps I am unfulfilled because I am living out the fantasies of when I was a child. That our dreams change as we change. I don’t know I hope that’s it.

How do you fluff genetic abilities that seem to create energy ex nihilo, like mutants from x-men or superman? I really wanna use them, but not without having an explanation for why they actually work without going "lol it's comics".

>>
>>51549626
Well, with most mutant abilities they're actually drawing energy from another dimension. Like, Cyclops' laser eyes are actually due to him opening tiny portals to a high-energy plasma field. As for Superman, yellow sunlight catalyzes an internal energy conversion effect allowing him to turn matter into energy. I don't know why yellow sunlight specifically, but that's how it works.
>>
>>51549626
Sufficiently advanced tech, the energy comes from somewhere but most people just cant tell where that is.

However I just don't know the world and have no clue what the abilities can do. I am just looking at the jump and seeing what seems cool to me or what will be useful later on.

>>51549753
That's fair.

The point I was making was just that you can't use Oramus' powers without convincing him to give you access.

Which might be hard, because he's an immobile dreaming dragon. Or easy because he always does the opposite from what anyone would expect.
>>
>>51549845
I see it as she probably tries to talk him in to it because they are both from outside of reality, at first she thinks she has failed and starts to walk away and he calls her back and decides to share some lesser charms because she expected to get nothing. So she probably doesn't get his best stuff but doesn't wind up empty handed for the choice either.

>>51549412
There is a couple of ways
1. Go to DBM and become as bullshit durable as you possibly can, I'm talking Unleashed Potential + Potara earrings fusion combo. even Scions pales in comparison to the ridiculousness that High End DBZ gets to.

2. If you don't have the durability then DODGE for your life, his beams vaporized the already ridiculously durable endbringers.

3. The more obvious solution is to use magic to cheat, magic being the one thing Scion can't account or prepare for. Create a barrier that he can't create a counter frequency for, or however his power works.

>>51549450
Probably not, there is nothing "mundane" about Scions Golden F U beams. The servants immunity is more about modern weapons and the like.
>>
>>51550404
>even Scions pales in comparison to the ridiculousness that High End DBZ gets to.

Not really in terms of durability, considering they die to being thrown into the sun.
>>
>>51550363

>>
>>51550404
Servants are immune to everything that isn't magical or can't hurt spirits. It's not a matter of being "mundane" or not. If it's not magic then it can't hurt a Servant. Because Servants are corporeal spirits and you can't hurt a spirit with physical matter or phenomena.
>>
>>51548408
I bought the multiple portals option in Warehouse supplement, so I make everything a warehouse attachment I can and open portals where I want them to be in relation to each other.

For properties I cannot make attachments I place them physically close to each other, and treat them like one property. Like Disney land has separate theme parks, but they are so close together there is not really a distinction.
>>
>>51550448
I can't believe I'm saying this, but yeah, an SB-er could probably do better.
>>
>>51550461
>you can't hurt a spirit with physical matter or phenomena
Depends on the setting. Please don't confuse people with such sweeping generalities.
>>
>>51550446

Everyone in DBZ is vastly less durable than they are powerful or fast, that's why they dodge, regenerate or attempt to overwhelm enemy attacks as opposed to taking them on the chin the vast majority of the time.
>>
>>51550487
There are no generalities. If it's not magic or infused with magic then it can't hurt Servants. There's nothing "general" about this.

I could have sworn it was mentioned that great enough physical forces could indeed bring the pain to a Servant.
>>
>>51548344
I don't think there's any plans for Beast, but genius is in progress.
>>
>>51550547
Oh. Oops.

To elaborate, Servants are spirits in the Nasuverse. They have the property of being able to materialize themselves as corporeal entities and influence the physical environment but due to their nature they cannot be harmed with any kind of physical attack or interference. Anything that's magical or infused with mana, even something that's just reinforced by an ordinary Magus using Reinforcement Magecraft, would be able to hurt a Servant. But if it has no magical energy at all then it can't hurt them. You could potentially move a Servant if you delivered enough force to their body but regardless of how force is delivered you would never actually harm them. And the amount of physical energy required to even move one is ridiculously higher than logic would imply; you could hit a Servant with a speeding car and you might move them a couple of inches or maybe a foot. But the car would literally break in half around them before they moved much at all unless it has magical energy flowing through it.

>It's an all-or-nothing type of deal, if he gives access at all, then he can't stop them from learning /all/ of his powers or take it back.
Well if the Exalted agreed to become Akuma, that would give them a Yozis charmset without unlocking them for all Green Sun Princes. Not what you were talking about, but I had been meaning to mention it because of a couple of your drawbacks...

The "You Become Akuma" drawback and
the "You Get your Exaltation at end of jump"
Nothing prohibits someone with an Infernal Exaltaion from agreeing to the Akuma process to get that one Yozis charmset that the Yozi refuses to unlock. This is normally a bad idea for the Green Sun Prince, and a good deal for the Yozi. The resulting Akuma still has the prior exaltation, and abilities it grants, minus free will. You become Akuma would not loose access to the other Yozi's charms that were unlocked.

And taking both drawbacks currently does not give the Patron Yozi you are akuma of, when it should. Because mortals can become akuma, They would be able to learn that yozi's charms up to their essence limit, which would raised by out due the the akuma process. Or Essence 4 for thise without an exaltation, higher for those with an exaltation from an earlier jump.

This also means someone who takes the "no infernal exaltation"' drawback should be able to gain access to a single Yozi's charmset and some free CP, all for the teensy little cost of their free will. Tempting, right? That is how an infernal deal like this should look. Not "becoming akuma without any of the actual akuma benefits" that deal is not tempting or insidious enough.

Journal Entry # 19023

Yet another dream from my childhood, I remember loving to watch Sailor moon. At first again I couldn’t help but feel sad and dirty. However it was nice actually meeting the girls and joining the scouts. It’s really nice to have some girlfriends I think it’s something I have missed. I mean I have Stheno but… she has an odd perspective on things being an artificial being.

I still feel like crap but a little less so.

Journal Entry 19025

Ughhh… So the scouts ran in to Kotomine and accused him of being evil, and the source of my depression (how did they even know?) Instead of answering the obvious that he wasn’t he just asked them what they were going to do. Explaining they couldn’t prove he had actually done anything and pointing out that they had no influence that. He also freaked them out by addressing them by name despite being transformed. They decided to withdraw telling Kotomine they would be keeping an eye on him.

Journal Entry # 19030

The worst has happened, Sans is here! I don’t know how it’s even possible but he is. Seeing him I collapsed I… I don’t know if it was fear or regret. The only reason I survived is the Scouts saved me. He was actually winning but he chose to end the battle walking away after telling them the reason he was after me. Explaining how I had butchered his people.

What Could I say I ran. They tried to ask me about it but I ran off crying.

(to be continued)
>>
>>51551017
Journal Entry #19031

I know he waits out there for me. Maybe this is fate, maybe jump chan really has decided this is as far as I go. I know that if he wanted to he could be in here right now murdering me. No he is letting me wait. Letting me suffer with what I had done. It wasn’t my fault. They kept attacking me I was afraid…

I suppose that doesn’t make much difference to the dead though does it. I Wish he would finish it.

Journal # 19032

Well I had nothing left to lose and got tired of dodging them I told the rest of the scouts the truth, the whole ugly truth. Even had Reginald verify it as he was there helping me do it.

They were shocked, horrified, disappointed and saddened by what I had done. However at the end first Usagi hugged me then the rest joined in. they told me they understood I had done what I did because I was afraid, because I was protecting my friends who were trying to protect me and because I didn’t see any options. They told me they would help me speak with him. That Sans seemed like a good guy deep down and that maybe he could be reasoned with. I doubted it.

Journal # 19035

He is dead. Sans is dead by my hand. How did things go so wrong? We tried to talk to him. He wasn’t interested. He was out for my blood. I can’t blame him, He started attacking us. I could tell he was just trying to knock the scouts unconscious to get them out of the way, Then Reginald joined it and Sans started trying to kill. It was like a replay of our first battle. I am having trouble because I am still shaking. I blasted away his bones and his skull blasters as Reginald tried to land a hit on him only to have Sans vanish. Then sense would launch an attack from where he couldn’t see it, Ami actually jumped in the way injured. I realized then what I had to do. I couldn’t let them carry my burden.

Unfortunately it doesn't actually work on things that are already 100% resistant to magic.
However if you combine it with one of the other methods mentioned in this thread then you'd be able to quickly tear someone to pieces since the weakness effect applies to it for subsequent applications.
>>
>>51551033
I faced Sans in one a one on one battle. I used my magic to neutralize his and used trickery to land the final blow on him. I apologized as he fell bleeding and crumbling to dust. He spat back at me a sarcastic comment that my feeling bad about it made everything better and cursed me as he faded away. I was struck and horrified by how different he had become. What my actions had made him into.

Journal # 20001

It has been a long jump and though I love my friends here dearly maybe it’s best that it’s coming to an end. The girls were working on something as my date to leave approached. I hadn’t known what but I found out today. Apparently they have decided that one of them would accompany me for a bit. They claim it’s to keep an eye on Kotomine but I think it’s to make sure I am ok.

I wasn’t really in favor of this but they can be quite insistent. Apparently Ami won because she has medical training, brains and probably would gain the most out of a trip around the multiverse. I am grateful to all of them. I guess somehow it’s been Okayed by Jumpchan. I don’t know how I haven’t spoken to her, since the thing with Sans. I really haven’t wanted to.

Also a question for him, if you buy Kryptonian Physiology after the jump is Kryptonite is extremely harmful to Kryptonians and prolonged exposure can kill them, or does this go away like a drawback? I am talking about the extreme weakness that can kill you beyond suppressing your superman powers.

Also Red Sunlight, does is still depower you after the jump, or instead do nothing like some other Supermans?

Step 1: Connect all of my interdimensional gates that I have slowly been setting up since Jump 219 in Tenchi Muyo, and get the past 217 jumps brought into the same fold while the rest get updated tech-wise. Said interdimensional gates are set up near my various versions of Skyhold across the worlds, so thankfully I can get resources moved from the "up-to-date" ones to the others more easily.

Step 2: Connect the Skyholds to the Infinite Jumper Academy purchased in Infinite Stratos (thus dubbed 'Dragonheart Academy' or some other dreck, name's still being pitched about).

Step 3: Go ham on the E6+ Charms and finish development of my Exaltations.

Step 4: Go back and fix my epic-level fuckup in Jade Empire.

Step 5: Go back to Magi and pick up the empire, induct them into the worldship

Step X.5 interlayed throughout steps and until I get to the rest of the post-spark plots and plans: Have victory sex with the wife.

I'm sure going to try. He's got me loaded up on Drawbacks though.

High School of the Dead, Land of the Dead, and Killing Floor.

This is... actually going to be the first time I go full tilt in my entire Chain. I usually dick around and try to make do with just what I get from a Jump. But... not this time.

War... war never changes. Even for a Jumper.

Early reactions are a mixed bag. Frisk hasn't failed to instantly start to make friends, but it's clear the Dolls are horrifying her. Raven is more sympathetic, but has very few mothering instincts and is struggling. Rip Van Winkle is on permanent guard duty after attemping to harvest Cell Medals off a Doll. Muffet gives the best hugs and has taken charge of the high schoolers.
>>
>>51552195
Best of luck to you, my friend. Couple of things I should warn you about:

Aside from the Necromancers, there are still living beings. However, these living beings are hostile, being an assortment of bioweapons left over from the war that destroyed the world. There are also soul storms and holes in reality that occasionally tear across the land, avoid those at all costs. There are a lot of weapons still left over from the war, including robots, which can be hazards if you're not careful. Finally, psychic dolls should have an eye kept on them, and someone to look after them. I don't know much, but apparently they're connected to the local equivalent to the Warp, which is what gives them their powers. Try and keep them from snapping, because a psychic doll that's been driven mad will do a lot of damage before it can be put down.
>>
>>51546768

I agree - but Quicksilver outlined the Spark as such:

Teen Titans Hide and Seek (S5 E7) would like some words with you about that. Raven has a freakish talent for mothering despite her anti-social behavior disorder making her scary-as-fuk. Look up Hide and Seek here http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Heartwarming/TeenTitans for more info on it.
>>
>>51552274

Seriously? That changes things. Other than omniversal travel, the Oldwalker spark isn't that hot compared to what you can get in chain without some sort of fiat boost.

400 cp - Knight’s Crest
There are those who are just beginning on their journey. There are those who have set out and returned. And there are those who have set out and returned a dozen times or more. And through those journeys, a skill has been mastered, knowledge obtained. You? You are a fighter. A defensive one, but a fighter. If it is physically possible for you to block a blow, you will succeed in doing so. In a supremely unfair fight, where it is not possible to completely block without taking damage, you may find yourself better off dodging.

Is this OP?
>>
>>51552320
Remember that this was decided pre-power creep.
>>
>>51552320
It's also a fuck-hueg magic booster. There's also a lot of perks that get boosted/unlocked by it.
>>
>>51552344
Ah right, back when it was shit.
>>
>>51552329
It seems like it yeah. It doesn't even seem to have the requirement that you must be actively trying to block at the time, so you can attack all you want and just rely on the perk to auto perfect block everything. Just having a really good and big shield will make you near invincible unless they manage to attack from all directions. It's too good for 400 and without some sort of qualifier about you actually needing to try to block for it to activated, too good in general anyway.
>>
>>51552329
Maybe try posting the context of the rest of the jump instead for asking for an opinion based in interning balance.
>>
>>51552329
Not at all, in the context of the chain at least, I don't know what jump you are making.

8-bit theater for example has Fighter's conceptual "has blocked a fucking planet" blocking skill on offer.
>>
>>51552329
Seems reasonable. So basically, you can block any blow you could normally block all the time successfully, but if it's not possible to block it period, blocking it becomes a bad idea.

>>51552361
Anon, I don't think it can perfect block everything. It specifically mentions that in a supremely unfair fight (like versus someone like Scion for most early-mid jumpers, for example), you'd be better off dodging.
>>
>>51552344
Wow. The power creep must have been amazing.

>>51552356

>400 - Camera’s From Nowhere
Hey, how does this work? Does it act more like a perk, or a process that you apply to your technology? How good are the cameras?
>>
>>51552380
That was in reference to something like having captain america's shield or the like. Even ignoring that part, it's easy to take it as not needing you to be aware of attacks or even bother defending at all. If it doesn't need those things then you can auto block any sneak attack as long as you're physically fast enough, regardless of awareness, or just attack constantly and be sure that you'll auto block anything unless you're fighting something way beyond your power level. I'm saying it needs more qualifiers.
>>
>>51552329
What Jump is this for?
As for this one's opinion on the perk... Let me break it down so that I can see if my interpretation of your work is correct then I'll give my criticism.

Knight's Crest does:
1. Auto-Block anything (Must be physically possible)
2. Even when being hit by something not Auto-Blocked (Magic, energy, esoteric techniques that just outright get around physical blocking) you can try to dodge
Is this correct?
>>
>>51552414
I mean, it wouldn't be physically possible to block something if it was a sneak attack. If someone tried to stab me in the back, it wouldn't be physically possible to use a shield to block it in time, because I'd have to A. know it was coming, B. react to it, and C. actually move my shield (for example) to block it.

>>
>>51552465
Those should work, though keep in mind that there are undead who are much, much smarter, and will be better armed due to being the servants of the Necromancers. Remember, the Necromancers are (usually) doing all this because they're bored out of their skulls, so to speak. Some are doing it for more innocent reasons (wanting friends/family, or a childish love of dolls), or for more personal reasons (there's an example scenario where the Necromancer is a possessed robot obsessed with making Dolls in his dead daughter's image), but that's what the majority of them want. The tech they have can vary from medieval to advanced enough to access the Warp equivalent and raise and control an army of undead soldiers while also creating soul nukes that break reality, depending on how old the Necromancer is or how much tech they have access to. Any of the old commanders from the Last War will be your biggest threat, with access to the biggest guns.

This'll be neat to combo with You Blocked? and Shield Up! alongside an unbreakable shield of some sort. Also since it is restricted to only stuff that is physically possible does it synergize with perks that make your phsyciality better or is this a 'if you could do it when normal' kinda of perk?

>>51552465
She does great with those kids, Yorokonde. Just my opinion from having dealt with kids that age whilst working in a daycare as a teen here, but other than a few missteps she does very well for a teen out of her element whilst also not enjoying the stress free (in relation to the amount a Hero would have to go through here) life of a normal teen. Yep it's not Majora's Mask, I block whilst wearing the bomb mask and just slide back block but Wind Waker had a nice wide range of blocking, like most Zelda games.

Pretty good then. Might wanna clarify the skill boost if it is also supposed to act like one though.

A lot of characters ended up getting screwed. Even in the backstory, how many people died because of Ganon or the great flood? Hell, even Ganondorf ends up stranded forever at the bottom of the ocean, and if we go by the timeline as a whole, so did Fi.

>>51552642

There had to stay there to power up the Master Sword, so you need a way to channel divine energy to it without them.

>>51552734
I don't like Fi and have trouble feeling sorry for her. Though yes, preventing Ganondorf from taking Hyrule might let you raise it from the sea instead, but that'd prevent Spirit Tracks and its New Hyrule, thus third best Zelda won't exist and end up with that Link.

One, because he posted a WIP. Two, because 400 CP perks are generally-not always, but generally-somewhat interesting. Seems a bit less impressive than "no fuck ups".

>>51552687
It already says "if you can see it coming, and you're strong enough", though, so that would be unnecessary. It should qualify when you might not be able to block, and personally, I'd prefer it it said "almost never fail".

>>51552705
Might wanna include that, then.

Fire Emblem Heroes has a gun that shoots out summons.

Most of those summons are waifus.

Ergo, waifu gun.

Fire Emblem Heroes is a new mobile game set in the Fire Emblem universe, where the main character is from our world got summoned to that one. The MC gets a relic, a gun, that can shoots out/summons heroes from past Fire Emblem characters.

The victims who died in that explosion will be reincarnated in that alternate world. Our heroine, who has the lowest standing in the class, was reincarnated into a spider. She nevertheless faces this challenge head-on with great determination, and adapts to it surprisingly quickly.

Official Dragon Ball spin off isekei where some kid gets reincarnated as Yamcha. It could get good, or it could be worse than fanfiction. We'll just have to wait and see.

For Generic Parenting, I don't have to tell the child about my history, right? At the end, when they're making their decision and I've satisfied the win condition, can I tell them solely about all of my flaws and mistakes?

I'd say that is entirely up to you and yours.

If you can create life, is it wrong to just conjure sapient beings that you then torture, for either your own amusement or other reasons? What if you had the willingness and ability to do so, but didn't?
>>
>>51553517
>If you can create life, is it wrong to just conjure sapient beings that you then torture, for either your own amusement or other reasons?
Yes. I don't know how that's even in question. Torturing sapient beings is wrong. Just the fact that you made them doesn't absolve you of any moral obligation to them, if anything it gives you a greater one.

>What if you had the willingness and ability to do so, but didn't?
Then you're just exhibiting basic human decency, and are neither good nor bad. What, do you want a medal for "could have done really evil stuff, but didn't"?
>>
>>51553517
I would say yes. Maybe not if you just had the ability to, but didn't (and the willingness only being a passing thought)
>>
>>51553517

I'd say the reasoning would play a part in the morality, but in general, spawning something capable of suffering and then just inflicting as much suffering as possible on it is pretty fucked up. Your second question confuses me a little, willingness and ability to create sapient life and torture it and not do it, or just the willingness and ability to create life? If it's the first, I'm confused why you wouldn't do that if you wanted too, if the second, I think the natural reaction to spawning life is not torturing it so that's normal.

No, that's just called mental illness.

Journal Entry # 20104

I find myself in another land, one that is vaguely like of Medieval Europe. I found rather quickly that I was not welcomed by the local church. Maybe it’s sad at this point but I don’t even get surprised any more at the number of enemies I start a jump with.

In a positive note Stheno seems to have gained a life and power from this world. She seems quite pleased with herself. Ami… is adjusting. I don’t think she anticipated so many people seeing us as monsters or villains. Sadly it’s a role I am getting used to…

We begin our journey for a fabled land, Megas Therion a lost place of great magic. Thankfully I still have access to the endless desert of Ceceline. So going any place is a mere 5 day trip… so long as I know where I am going.

Journal Entry # 20224

It took quite a journey but we made it to Megas Therion. We cleaned out the monsters that were here wandering the streets. Apparently the knowledge and power weren’t the only legacies the mages here left behind. I have managed to claim it, however that claim was quickly challenged by other mages. I don’t know how something goes from lost to found by everyone so quickly but I have had to defend my claim quite a few times, usually with lethal force. I wanted to spare them but they wouldn’t have any of it.

It still hurts taking life. I still hate it. However I think I am getting used to it as just another necessity. I am sad that Ami had to see me do it. She said she understood but was mildly horrified.

From the banner’s our summoned creatures are seeing off in the distance it seems the church too has found us. We shall soon have to face more than just greedy mages. It seems a rather large party from the church will be here soon. Thankfully it’s not an army. Though I am sure that will follow.

Is this actually for anything in particular or is it just a neat tool to keep track of jumper stats that you just made to be nice?

It's not that it matters to me either way, it's just that I haven't been keeping up with the threads lately, so I don't know if there's a story behind this or not.
>>
>>51553675
Just a neat tool to keep track of Jumper stats that I just made because I already had it all in Onenote, and I wanted to contribute. No interesting story to be found.
>>
>>51553517
In my opinion, torturing people for teh lulz is evil.
But if you had a benevolent purpose in mind, that muddies the waters a bit. I'm sure there's a 'suffering algorithm' out there that would tell you whether or not it's morally acceptable to torture others, but I don't have it.

And choosing not to do evil shit is a sort of passive good.
But simply being willing or wanting to do something is neither bad nor good.
You can't be the greatest person ever by simply 'wanting' to help others. Nor can you be the worst by 'wanting' to see others suffer.
At some point you have to divorce actions and thoughts.

But this is just my opinion. It's probably wrong.

So are the Infusion gems you can learn to make in the DSIII jump actually like game mechanic gems, where weapons they're applied to can literally scale with strength/dexterity/intelligence/etc., or are they less impressive like "heavy weapon more mass makes smashing easier"/"pointy weapon more effective when pokes right places"/"spiritual weapon can channel magic"?
>>
So how do Jobs in FFTA work?
>>
>>51550095
I... guess it had to come out somewhere? maybe down was easier than up?
>>
>>51553722

For the most part that's what they do, Heavy Gem makes shit more dense/heavier therefor it's better for thwacking, Refined Gem makes stuff higher quality and thus better across the board and so on. That being said, the Hollow Infusion actually works like in the game since I have no real analogue to explain "it, as a weapon, becomes more powerful the luckier you are". That's what that does, causes weapons to "Scale with Luck".

Why does it seem like every single male saiyan has a widow's peak?
>>
>>51553805
Well, widow's peaks are genetic. All the surviving Saiyans are either Saiyan nobility or part of the court, so they probably all came from the same region. The gene for widow's peaks was probably just really common in that population.
