I honestly feel a bit retarded I didn't think of it myself but that's the only part with a background, the rest of the CYOA is just blackish background and pretty pictures so no worries there.

Thank god for elevens and their perception of elves as nubile rape-bait. I've managed to fill 40 image slots in around two hours and I think I can get the 90 remaining slots filled in maybe three or four more hours.

Hey Ordion, I was messing around with Builds for Hell Invasion. I don't know if this criticism will be relevant for the remake.

I felt like there were too many points in both the amount of powers you could pick up and weapons. Each Origin had 10 skills available (6 from their base class and 4 from the subclass) with 7 choices, wasn't much decision making. Weapons weren't quite as bad at 14 choices with 5 points, but it still felt a bit much.

I don't know if a defense-themed outfit would actually do anything. You don't spend mana on physical attributes, they're all passive. I suppose you could extend the rules as stated to cover passive effects as well, though.

Also, you're working off an old version. You can pick two outfits now, and merge styles and effects.

I'm hoping that art genie gets posted before I snooze, but it's probably not going to.

Khif - A balanced race that leans towards magic. Fits my fighting goals strongly.
Prophet - More for the big mana boost. While I expect to melee a lot, I want to use a lot of spells to augment it.
Strength - Because I do plan to melee a lot.
Agility - I prefer being fast and speedy to slow.
Charisma - For vanity mainly.

Battlemage - Balanced
Polearm (6) - Versatile and hard-hitting.
Staff (6) - Magic.
Hybrid (1) - Because I only have two hands.
Shield Catalyst (4) - For things a Frost Wall won't block.
Shortsword (3) - For backup.

Frost Unlock - I love ice, I love the cold.
Obsidian Ice - First up, getting better weapons will be most valuable early on when I can't sling spells so much.
Cryro Shot - Bread and butter.
Frozen Heart - Helps make up for having no endurance marks.
Seeker Shards - Very good deterrent for smaller foes.
Shatter - Because everything is getting covered in ice, and it'll tear apart crowds.
Ice Permeance - Terrain control is great, but it's even better when your terrain is different from your opponent's.
Wall of Ice - Lots of neat tricks to do with this if you think about it, but mainly, this is for the terrain control. Anyone that can't fly is going to have a hard time.

None of these guilds fit nor are they interesting.

None of the companions really interest me either. Faren Lovell is the only one it'd be useful to know, but I don't want to fight with him.

Runic Expedition - Just seems like the most interesting.
Raptor Mounts - Never going to use it for anything, but alright.

Ember Drinker (W) - More cold.
Comet - Remember how I said I like going fast? This is the earliest I can do so. Comes with more meat grinder too.
Glacial Absolution - I need a final attack. It's a real killer to crowds, especially when combined with shatter for the stubborn.

Skirmish - I need some major battlefield experience.
Tyrant Mounts - Still not using much.

Force Unlock - Only want it for a few things. I had the kinetic shield in my list of wants, though.
Direction (A) - Being able to MAKE walls is nice, being able to phase through them is great, but being able to walk and run and flip off of them opens up a wealth of maneuver opportunities.
Arcane Unlock - I REALLY love this school, but my hyper-focus on Frost because of its synergy with all of its own spells requires me to only take the essentials from it in the build.
Void Stare - Not going to be used much, but it's a pre-req.

Reclamation - None of these grabbed me, but the Det here seems like the best match for me, and there's lots of small foes to eat up.
Drake Mounts - Ehhhh.

Momentum - Helps both melee as well as agile maneuvers.
Unstoppable Force - Not using it much, just a pre-req.
Launch - Now this one is fun. The thing about being able to jump super high is that, at a different angle, that same leg movement can be used to dash forward. This is the second fast spell I can get.
Void Call - Like I said above, mana intensive combat needs mana boosting.
Haste Cast - And this is a great emergency button to deal with surprises.

Sanity - I feel my build is particularly good at magical single combat, and this has the strongest single opponent. So it's my best choice here from that perspective.
Mana Glass Coins - If it wasn't clear, I don't care much for the mounts. The etches are nice, but I don't have the spell slots for them.

Hel's Scream - To boost my finisher.
Glacial Armor (A) - I can handle a slight loss in speed at this point, for the extra defense.
Undead Unlock - I'm really only interested in the blood and soul magic, not so much the minions. Had to cut this one down massively too.
Masochism - Works well with any build that gets up close. Might help by giving at least a little benefit from mana burns instead of them being a complete killer.
Life Drain - Funnily enough? The ONLY healing option available to me in any of my schools. The possible de-aging is nice too, it's a good starting point for life extension research.
Overload - A finisher for Frost-resistant foes.
Void Tap (A) - Yet more mana.
Star Burst (W) - And a nice anti-mage effect. Wish I could've put it in sooner, but it'll never stop being useful.

If I had more schools, Flame and Lightning would be early for fast + esoteric cold effects like cold fire.

Otherwise, I just want to continue studies of Soul and Arcane energies. The Life energy of Nature is interesting, but it just has no synergy with other things in my build to justify purchase. The esoteric energies like this seem like they'd be very important reality, more so than regular elements etc, and would be the best places to look for continued study and discovery of new, weird magic. I noticed that one guy might be working up to full on blood magic via Arcane + Undead, and I noticed one girl with a similar focus as me had unique foresight powers. I'm wondering if that's the result of some unknown synergy between Frost and Arcane, which'd be really worth looking into.

Just assume that I have a party and I just don't care about them enough to actually spend blood glass on them, because I don't. I couldn't find anyone that really hooked me. I know I mentioned two of them in my build as interesting people, but being interested in their magic isn't the same as wanting to team up and fight with them. Personally I have enough fun just building around my own abilities. I'm a shadow assassin. Imagine this as the situation:

Having successfully infiltrated what passes for Detritus field-command I now sit in wait above my target. They have not yet detected me. Before moving any closer I summon a shade of myself which goes on to seek a potential escape route or better cover. Then I drop. As I descend magical blackness engulfs me and the detritus. My wand-dagger strikes, seemingly homing in on the leaders neck, the nerves it severs with surgical, and explosive precision. With my blade embedded between two vertebra I use it to fire off a couple of Dark Shards and then instantly trade places with my Shade. The Dark Shards explode, severing the detritus leader's head from its shoulders and my shade covers my escape until it falls, leading the leaderless detritus remnants to believe that I am dead. The other battlemages can clean up here, my job is finished.

Of course if the shit hits the fan I could always go loud with a small army of Shades empowered by Nocturne. It's sure to be effective, but it's a last resort over my preferred surgical striking.

but anon, that 50% is only for the actual magic damage spells (absorb/damage health). Also I don't like Bretons because Bethesda overpowers them. Even in Skyrim that 25% magic resistance is uber broken because it's 25 fire+frost+shock to make a total of 75, whereas Nords and Dunmer only get a 50 to their respective elements.

Also I was thinking of an Elder Scrolls like CYOA, but I'm not sure how to work Argonians or Khajiit, because hybrid children are born with incredible magical and physical potential, and recently the Not!Empire has been recently encouraging interbreeding. Mainly because I wanted racial specific magic and didn't want to have people only be able to pick from a pool 1/10th of the size of the actual abilities.

A basic idea I had was each race is descended from 1 god as he died, who gifted each one of them an aspect of himself (Nords embody the God's courage and willpower, Imperials the God's discipline and focus, Orcs the God's stoicness and calmness, etc. etc.). And the races all were forcibly kept from interbreeding by the Evil Empire until an invasion resulted in the Emperor's death, which had the result of a new Emperor that repealed the law, which resulted in the people discovering the power of half breeds. The reason half breeds have such immense power is because the aspects of the God are being combined again, and the God as a whole was greater than the sum of his parts.

Speaking of magic, what's a good way to go about it? Where should the line between self insert power fantasy and reality warping end? Should magic be influenced by the casters imagination, effectively making everything possible, or should individual spells follow a pre-made action? If they were to follow a pre-made action, just how much influence should the caster have on the creation of spells? If they have freedom to create whatever spells they wish, should there be limitations to prevent them from doing anything? How would you impose those without making it sound like a complete ass pull? Should all magic ultimately end with the magician becoming an all powerful reality warping god within their own pocket dimension? Or should they be regular john does that, aside from the handful of cantrips they can spit out, are in no way different from the next guy over?

Alright I am done with paint.net and having 14 thousand layers because it cant apply a fucking text outline to more than one block of text without re-outlining every other object until the entire page is lost to a black void of fucking text outline. Does anyone know if it would be better to use an old 2002 version of photoshop or the demo of the current version?

Path to victory is free of all blind spots now, I can help kill the endbringers and Scion, I can also find a way to take all their powers for myself and become a undying god, I can even help Taylor get revenge on her bullies.

This time I will have powers, and save and reload will act as a kind of poor mans PtV, with Manton effect bypass and godslayer I can get rid of all blind spots for save and reload, and Kingmaker+manton effect bypass will allow me to give power to myself and others, maybe I will join the undersides and give those guys some extra firepower, keep grue and regent safe until past golden morning.

If you pick bringing an end, worthless opponent kind becomes a must, otherwise the whole world will be gunning for the person that can control endbringers.

I think I may stick with my original idea of the Khajiit and Argonians being essentially weak ass midgets that have beast forms similar in size to the other humanoids. Half breeds resemble the non-beast parent in their ordinary form, but their beast forms are even bigger than normal, like this Argonian Behemoth.
