Wheres a good place to ask DnD questions? Ive played a couple games of 3.5 and one or two of 5, but I odnt know as much as I'd like. Im interested in the cool small things that may be lesser known. Magic items that have unique or interesting or oddly useful applications. Or undervalued spells that can be really useful. Maybe facts that would surprise. I wasnt sure which board to ask after /qst/, so here I am.
I'm in a similar state. I want to start playing with the guys at my halfway house but D&D is confusing

I feel that. I want to know the almost-secrets un the DnD universe. All the small underestimated stuff that cause a difference, you know. That way I get a slight edge without ruining anything and probably just making it more fun.

Pathfinder / 3.5 if you ask nicely

There's a lot of forums that touch those subjects, easily found with search sites.
