Please answer a question correctly for once. No one in the world fucking understands light do they? Water doesn't heat up by absorbing microwaves, it heats up because it aligns itself with a wave that is changing from positive to negative and the water moves back in forth but why does the water align itself with only certain microwaves and not any other frequencies at all? Explain it. Do it right this time :)

Certain substances treat certain wavelengths of EM radiation as opaque, or transparent; absorbing or transmitting these energies depending upon, primarily, atomic number, and molecular configuration.
