Nah I dont even own it Ive been riding it no insurance weekly this past month. The girl that owns it financed it new with 0 down and 100$ monthly. 5k bike new, Geico wanted 17k a yr for minimum insurance due to it being financed. Wouldve been 1400$ if paid off. Girl who owns it is retardes though talking about financing another bike and financed her car and has credit card debt and didnt want to pay 50$ for 400$ fairings she broke.

Lovely bike though. Looks great, rim stripes and matte paint stock. Top speed 117mph vs my old cbr250r's 85mph with trigger finger high beam flasher and buttery smooth everything.

Rode an SV650 for around a year and 13000km.
Also did a bunch of ADAC Rider courses which really help a lot.

And honestly, the bike is just amazing. Stiffened up the rear suspension almost as far as it can go and now it corners like a dream.

Was fun to help the bolise manage traffic for a cycling event. 67 volunteer motorcyclists, 10~ press/reserve/spare tyres and another 10~ cop bikes. Basically you ride to your intersection and block it off when you get the signal from a motorcycle cop. When the all clear comes in from another cop after the cyclists and support vehicles have passed you race to your next intersection (often taking routes you wouldn't otherwise take because you can't overtake the cyclists) to do it all again. Excellent catering. Fair amount of money for expenses. 8/10 will do again. Please rate blog.

I use alot of rattle can since im broke and ghetto, though more for detailing/minor jobs and manually assuming you're talking about a pressurized gun. I recommend plasti dip over regular paint for its much greater ease of application, ability to be removed easily and cleanly, and better appearance if youre going for matte. The rubber texture is useful for many things too. Versus regular paint you need to potentially sand off the old surface until bare metal is showing, apply primer, then paint, and then a glossifier and or protective layer. And then maybe even wax that. Personally I find its too much work for gloss and I prefer matte colors anyway. When apply paint do multiple thin layers and allow it to dry between coats, this is a must especially with plasti dip.

If you need paint or dip I usually get mine from Amazon. Though prices fluctuate from 2$ to 10$ a can regularly so use a price tracker like camelcamelcamel. Also if you try to return the paint Amazon will tell you to keep it and give you a full refund because civillians need a license to ship aerosols. Furthermore im 20 and spray paint requires 21 yr old ID

Also move the gun/can slowly on low setting. Enviormental factors are huge in painting, especially with sprays. No wind is best, consider ventilated garage. Beware of wind/fans blowing dust and shit onto your paint. If youre looking for quick and easy I put my fairing pieces outside in the sun to heat up the surface and speed up drying with occassional rotations, usually when the fuck ever because Id be working on my bike. If youre painting your car use masking tape and newspaper to mask off windows and stuff you dont want fucked by paint. They also sell high heat paint on Amazon, rust o leum is my favorite brand for all paint in general. High heat paint can be used on exhaust headers, radiators, and even the engine itself. Its pretty neat you can rice your shit to have a metallic anodized color of your choice under the hood pretty easily though even Ive never fagged that hard. I have painted headers though. Applying the paint is probably the hardest and most crucial step. If you apply too much at once shit will spiderweb crack like fractured glass. If youre really unsure try plasti dip first. If you fuck up peel it off and no sanding necessary, though it helps for permament jobs.

It's probably a little different, but what kind of drying time do you usually work with? Is humidity a major factor when working outside? What about temperature, as winter will have started by the time everything's together?
I'm thinking of dedicating a weekend at my father's house, since his garage has a 30+ gallon air can in the corner. he doesn't have climate control, but I should at least be shielded from wind on three sides. (We built it ourselves, so ventilation is there, but lacking)

And, finally, is it taboo to clearcoat over decals? I was going to replace the branding with custom colours and the model with "宇宙海賊Special".

Hey guys, having some issue with my bike.

I think my clutch is staying disengaged, or whatever. When I press the clutch in, sometimes it doesn't disengage, and I feel like I am forcing the bike through the gears as it clunks harder than usual. It also makes it hard to find neutral sometimes as I feel I am just manhandling it into gear and the clutch isn't helping. And when I start it, it sometimes wants to roll forward even with clutch depressed. Or lately, it has been giving me issues we're it won't start on first even with clutch depressed.

On my old bikes, when the rear tire is up on the air, it will spin in neutral. However, it is not doing it on my fz-07.

Do I just need to keep adjusting my clutch lever or is it time for a new clutch? I have been beating up on it a bit because I downgraded from an an R6 and generally ride like a shithead( like I stole it).

Well, I had my first crash today. Was probably going around 80 km/h. Managed to walk away with only a minor scrape from some gravel going up my sleeve, no other injuries.
