the reason is because it's a very complex curve. Most sticker vinyl is not meant for that, you'll need a wrap vinyl to do it right. I suggest trying heat from a heatgun/hair dryer since it helps make it a little bit more pliable but don't expect amazing results.

Hey guys sorry it's been taking so long. I've been going through a rough patch of recovery for a couple weeks but I'm doing better now.

I still need to sit down and put several hours into the Rhodesia design to make it ready to print.

I was hoping to rework the site too but honestly I don't know what I'm doing with CSS and don't want to fuck it up and break it.

I was planning to open up pre-orders for new designs this weekend and also have what's left in stock at 50% off just to get it cleared out. Pre-orders will run for a week and then close to get the stickers printed. I hate having to do pre-orders but since I've been off work for this kidney donation I simply can't afford to place a print order of this size in advance. I hope you guys understand.

Several of the stickers getting printed are going to have special base vinyl or laminates, but I'm still aiming for no stickers over $5 each on the new run.

Anyone wanna share their settings for 651 if theyre using the same cutter? Im using the following, bummed off a page online. But im sure there are more optimum settings.

Speed:variable You'll wanna change it up depending on the complexity of the design. Some things I ran at 1, some at 10.
Thickness:7 is usually good.

You want it to only cut the vinyl and only leave a faint impression on the backing. Too deep and it can pull up the first layer of the backing paper. Not deep enough and it's a bitch to weed. Also cutting like that will make your blades dull slower.

lower the speed the better result typically, but since it's an automated process the only real limit is how late it is and how angry your neighbours are about that weird grinding sound
if you look in some of your o's you've cut right through into the backing and had sections of the wax paper split off, slightly too deep.
iirc we usually used blade 4 and thickness 6 or something, but with a swapped out blade inside so we didn't run stock past the life of the first blade. Mostly used the cameo2 for scraps and endcuts to for smaller objects or the HTV.

every different material you cut will act differently and the cutters aren't all going to be built the exactly the same so you just need to run some experimentation with educated guesses on what works and doesnt, cutting out spirals that go from thick to thin and watching it works well for tests, small surface area while letting you see a large variety of thicknesses being manipulated on curves.
