It means once a vegetable has been cooked, I can't tell the difference between raw and organic. That being said, I've had organic apples that where terrible, and non-organic ones that were amazing. I think most of it is a placebo.

And truth be told, I'm not a master farmer, but I know enough to know that it's inherently more work to grow a crop without chemicals than it is to do. Case in point, the majority of America's food isn't organic, if it was easier and less labor, it would all be organic

More work the a 4stroke to maintain for sure and more tempermental, but they are also easier to work on if something goes wrong. I never changed the jetting in my bike when is was 30C or almost 0C so i dont think you would need to.

I grew up in a bougie, white, rich family. I also was a broke ass college student. Now that I can afford to go either way, I genuinely can't tell the difference and I buy both regularly. Is a placebo. A good bell pepper is good, regardless of how it's grown. It's a mental thing based on how something is grown, not a taste thing. You can have really well grown non organic crops that are much tastier than similar organic ones based more on the soil, climate, and when they are properly picked.

It's a product of the speed of growth, and the time food is taken off the vine. Dipshit probably can't tell the difference because he's eating safeway-shrunken "organic" food instead of in-season produce.
Y'know. Seasons. The reason people used to be unable to get tomatoes in winter?
Go to a wealthy neighborhood and look for "weekly farmer's market" signs. Hipsters put a lot of purchase into this kind of thing, will talk your ear off if you want it or not.

On bike stuff, I was thinking of ricing out an old magna off CL. Anybody know a specialty shop for swept back bars, round lights and such?
I could try bending them myself, but have zero metalwork experience. Not sure how to ensure they're even.

Funny enough, it ran like shit last night and I couldn't figure out why. I flipped the choke off today and it purred like a kitten. I think I need to turn the idle down a little, it's idling around 1300 but man it's smooth. Not very fast after you get to 50 but it's a rocket off the line.

My only complaint is that the controls are very cramped. I don't have enough room between the peg and the shifter. I might look into some aftermarket controls.

I have yet to hear a feasible argument connected to this assertion.

Tell me again, how setting up a spanking new bureaucracy is cheaper or more effective than reforming the existing one.

We should be focused on lowering entry fees for ag, creating actual punitive measures for env. Bring the market part back to capitalism, actually "protect" something, respectively.

Try overrevving the engine. You'll get a better feel for your friction zone.
Other exercise; Look at the horizon, attempt to go as slow as possible in straight line; go to a square parking lot. Do U's in three spaces, two spaces; make a partner stand in single spot, look them in the eye as you do circles.

You get a handle on those, flip on a channel like this:

Race skills are fine on twisty highways, but to build base confidence and save your wallet practice this stuff.

It's becoming more common because the markets turned to accommodate wannabe motocross racers. Some people argue that it gives them better ground clearance, but I've never had an issue with any of the kickstands on my bikes. I mean, I've ridden the Mojave desert since I was born and have been just about everywhere in it and I still have yet to want to take my kickstands off.

I loved the ranger I used to drive around, 4x4 on 32s or 33s and a 5 speed but it had the 4 banger. Couldn't get out of its own way.

I genuinely would love to own a 4x4, 4.0l 5 speed at some point, I love those little trucks

The I4's are disposable shit trucks. My roommate had one while I had my XLT and not only did his break down more often, I also had to pull him out of the snow all winter.
His truck was 1/3 the price of mine though, so there's that.

I traded my old Civic for mine. Worst trade ever. The Civic was slow but still fun. The Ranger was just slow. Soul suckingly so.

sup /dbt/,

I'm looking to learn how fix and restore bikes (not to make cuckfe racers), any of you guys recommend any books / guides / or sites to help an anon looking to get started?

I've already enrolled in a bunch of local shop classes building engines and stuff.

used bikes are stupid cheap, you can practically get a new one every year if you really wanted to. Don't get hung up on the price.

I bought my last bike for like 1700$ and i wasn't being particularly frugal either, there were many bikes for way cheaper floating around.

I thought the apex was much sooner than it really was, and the bike was previously owned by a fat short black dude who lowered the front and put lowering links in the back so I ran out of lean angle mad quick

excuses excuses

well I don't believe that at all lowering or not, but you need to revert that shit ASAP.

>I thought the apex was much sooner than it really was

"Apexing" in the fastest way like doing a hot lap is not for the road, on the road EVERY corner is a late apex and you should be nowhere near the center line until the exit is clearly visible, Start wide, finish tight, that way if the corner tightens or you run into some trouble you have runoff space and you are naturally on a wide entry now for the next corner if it's in the opposite direction (like yours is).

I'm sure you know this (or at least now you should) but yeah keep it in mind.

(and I feel this is obvious too but don't go crazy on roads you don't know.)

>well I don't believe that at all lowering or not
desu my left peg was grinding for the second half of that corner. Not the peg slider, but the very left side of the peg. But yes, it needs to get fixed, its on my to do list but money/time is a slight issue

>EVERY corner is a late apex and you should be nowhere near the center line until the exit is clearly visible
this is the same advice I've received from other experienced rider friends who saw this video today. I'll take it to heart
>>
>>16732176
I've ridden this road before. Its decently technical, lacks banking and requires focus and not getting overly confident. Almost ate shit here a few times.

I don't know anything about dirt bikes, I was just curious about the Beta 480 and watched reviews but I believe I've heard good things about TM as well.

Watch/read reviews, I guess.
