Idk where you live, but where I am all you need is your full Drivers license and you can take the written learner's permit exam, it's pretty easy. There are no restrictions on the permit except you can't ride with passengers (you still can, just get fined for it) then you can get your endorsement whenever you want without taking the written exam

I love teaching people to ride/drive and I'm good at it too, the trick is to stop being vague, describe a step by step process, anyone can learn how to ride a bike with the right instructions.

Instead of telling him "Just give it a ltitle bit of throttle and slowly release the clutch" break it down, Tell him what to do, show him an RPM to hold the throttle at, teach him about the friction point of the clutch and start slow, leave nothing to his imagination, he just needs to follow a list of instructions like a robot at this point, he can figure out "feel" for what to do and such later.

bmw can't make an aluminium frame work in racing, they have numerous setup issues, WSBK teams can't ever make them work because the bit that needs changing the most (the frame) they can't change.

It's also worth noting that the carbon fiber frame in motoGP DID work, the issue was, it was very finnicky and had an incredibly narrow setup margin, it also didn't get the development it really needed, stoner reckoned they definitely could have made the CF frame work but ducati higher ups were the problem.

Also worth noting though, is that ducatis approach to CF frames is very different to what BMW will do, ducatis use the engine as a stressed member then just run small carbon fiber subframes off the engine itself, I'm sure you can imagine that'll be tough in terms of setup, say if you want to move the engine around or change things you have to swap out entire components etc. while all normal twin spar aluminium bikes have several points to mount the engine.
