As our autos where all under cooled from the factory (Trans Coolers not good enough for 40-60 degree weather) and every box here overheats constantly in stop go traffic and steel hilly ranges

I would imagine the 188 BMW rear end would be up to a standard LS1 output, but not much more than that. Any further and you'll have to look at a 210 rear end. I'd presume you'd just run a T56 and have a custom prop shaft to suit.

That's more the writing side. I focus more on production and mixing really. I spend a lot more time doing the guitar tones for other peoples bands lol.

In my own music I don't tend to get synths and guitars to fight. I usually let one be the dominant instrument. Lately I've been using lead synths and letting the guitars float around in the background. You need pretty aggressive synth tones to do that approach though.

Your best bet would be to learn theory for piano and learn to apply it to your chosen instrument as you go.

My understanding is the GT3071R would be "better," but it'd have to be top mounted. Whereas the GT2835 uses something akin to an OP6 housing and would bolt straight up. Don't quote me though, this isn't my strongest field of knowledge.

I'm only looking to make 300-400bhp (225-300kw?) so quick spooling is the name of the game.

Yep. Plan is to pull the engine not long after I get it and do the standard affair. Pistons, rods, bearings, studs, injectors, ECU, AFM, braided oil+water feed, etc, etc.

Not really power chasing, so that should be plenty of go. It's just a fun interim car while I sort some legal stuff out and start work on the big project I've been planning for about half a year now.

Miscommunication sorry, only shooting for 350-400hp at the crank. That'd be around 250rwkw?

If I end up going 180SX I'll probably do a Sil80 conversion and shoot for about 200kw. Should be plenty on a 1150-1200kg car.

It'll probably come down to what is available, but I'm definitely leaning more towards the GTS-T.

My sense of speed is pretty shot from super sports, but power and straight line speed aren't what I'm after at the moment.

Hard to explain but when i first got it in eco non power mode the pedal was dampened and then you'd hit the power button and it would sharpen throttle response.
