It's not downloading anything in the workshop, when you download the game included in the 10 gigs is all stock content. It's verifying that the content is there, if you don't want to wait all that time close your game and go to the workshop and unsub to all the stock content.

Considering the game is modular, it's retarded that it auto-downloads the entire official library. I've owned the game for 2 years now and I haven't driven or downloaded all the stock content and never will. Thrusting an extra 30 gigs and forcing them to unsubscribe with the awful Steam Workshop interface is a horrible experience.

If they want to force any content, then force the "lite installer" content only so the download size is more manageable. Some people have bandwidth limits or stupid low download speeds, some people don't want anything to do with some of the content like the 10 different street Corvettes.

No idea. I just thought they looked cool. Still trying to find a skin that'll satisfy me. This one is fine, but still... I really like the stock red in this game, but I haven't seen many skins that incorporate it. I prefer subtle, less busy skins over ones with shitloads of markings. I also don't want them too dark.

Pic related was fun for a while, but it only really works when Satsuma is beat to shit at the same time.
