Well I wasn't even aware there was djent subgenre on RYM, so…
Anyway, I still don't get why people get triggered so much by RYM ratings. Albums with less ratings will appear lower, even if overall their average rating is the same or higher. The scales are obviously tipped in favor of more famous albums. And I'm pretty sure Meshuggah is probably the most famous one among them.
Their charts are in no way a good measure of quality, they're just here for the lulz pretty much. Good user lists are way better.

Well yeah, as you can see it's hit or miss. You can of course look at the charts, but as soon as there's some meme album/band in the genre, it gets propelled to the top and alas there's little you can do about it.
And another sad thing is that usually newer albums from old bands get very few ratings. They can be good or even great, but they won't show in charts because they have 100 ratings and their albums have 2000 or more.
So it's more like a database sorting feature, and definitely should be taken with a grain of salt.
