wtf this is literally just trader joe's toilet paper: the album
yeah the glow pt 2 is literally the only album ever
if dubs I will take my vinyl copy of ITAOTS to trader joe's and take pics of it next to the toilet paper.
What does /mu/ think of this show
no jeff magnum 0/10
It's ok but every episode follows the same formula, 25 mins of wacky self-destructive antics followed by 5 mins of intense self-hatred

wahh im depressed poor me :(((((((((((
what is the most mellow, minimal jazz album?
>>68759491
well, any number of solo records like
Mal Waldron - All Alone
Keith Jarrett - The Koln Concert
any solo Art Tatum or Bill Evans
will be pretty chill and minimal
if you want jazz that has a full band still, I think Vince Guaraldi's Charlie Brown Christmas album is pretty great
>>68759565
thank you! :)
>>68759491
>art tatum
>mellow
does he have more laid back material, because what i've heard from him is the opposite of "mellow"

I like the song this guy did on Gaga's new album.
Any other good songs by this delicious twink that I should know about? Other than the obvious, that is.

Hollywood Freaks is really the only one, desu.

Odelay is by far his best album and within my top five. Listen to The New Pollution to start you off. The guy is also a talented hack who just works with people who steal music like The Dust Brothers whom made his career. David Campbell his dad is in charge of his music's string sections. Don't believe the morons that state Kanye is less talented. Beck does anything he can to attempt to attain legendary status in the industry like having Nigel Godrich Radiohead's producer produce Mutations and pretend he's a master at all instruments. The guy really can't do that much, his new single is trash, his lyrics are word salad. Kanye will go down in history more and is more talented. And let me reiterate. I LOVE Odelay.
The only album you need to hear by him

Post your 10/10 song. But, write 3 sentences of why you like it. Don't just post a youtube link. It doesn't encourage discussion. What else are you going to do on a Saturday night /mu/?
>Nas- The World is Yours
A large part of why I love this song is nostalgia from playing tony hawk's underground a lot growing up, but it's still an amazing rap song. His flow is so perfect and the beat is the best on the album in my opinion. It's such a good song to just vibe out to.
>Minutemen- Viet Nam
It's such a funky song while still being kinda heavy. It's the quintessential Minutemen song to me. It's short but hits hard in that amount of time. Plus the lyrics are super great in this song
>Sturgill Simpson- In Bloom
Best cover I've ever heard. He's got an amazing voice and the way this song progresses is literally perfection.

fuck off frogposting faggot.
great idea for a thread, nice to see some actual music discussion.
>David Bowie - Teenage Wildlife
I love '70s Bowie, and this whole album is basically his loveletter/goodbye to that era. The song talks about how he's afraid of becoming irrelevant in the future, and how he's worried that people will just remember his past stuff, overall it's much more soul-bearing and touching than most of Bowie's other stuff(which is still great, obviously). The music is also basically just Heroes, but better, so that makes it good as well.
Why does everybody hate hipsters? Even hipsters hate hipsters...
Whats so bad about us? Whats wrong with wanting to express your quirkiness?
Because people project their insecurities on a group that isn't even a conscious group
