>"When we’re on tour, I try to find a massage parlor wherever we go. It’s become a ritual – wandering around the seedy district at three in the morning, searching for some action. I prefer the full body massage with a ‘happy ending’. It can start to feel kind of empty after a while, but you can meet some really cool people. A lot of times it’s the older ladies I really like – they have this nice maternal vibe. The reason I started with the prostitutes was solely to work on my negotiating skills. Once I mastered negotiating with a naked woman asking me for money, dealing with Interscope was a piece of cake.”

He actually said this

>Once I mastered negotiating with a naked woman asking me for money, dealing with Interscope was a piece of cake.
Said the man who made the Green Album
Reminder his mom was a massage therapist.

ITT: Directed at people who have listened to <1000 albums or those who remember such a time.
How do/did you confront the enormity of the amount of albums you still want to listen to? What method do/did you use to listen to more and more albums?
Do/did you travel through artist's discographies?
Do/did you travel through the seminal albums of a genre?
Do/did you just travel through all the most acclaimed albums in the recent history of music (e.g. things like the Rolling Stones 500 greatest albums list, or 1001 Albums YMHBYD, or the RYM top albums)?
Do/did you stick to modern music coming out in the current year?
Or is your method of picking music just random?
>inb4 just listen to albums how you want lol
I'm not asking this because I need guidance, i'm asking just because i'm curious how others conduct or have conducted this task.
>>68751823
If I was able to hear only 1001 album before I die
I'd choose european free jazz albums exclusively t b h

>Pick a genre I feel like listening to

As october comes to an end we face a dramatic shift weather wise (for some). This can come with a shift in mood as well, so whats some good music for winter and winter moods.

Post:
1. The last thing you listened to that you really liked
and
2. An awkward experience
Van Morrison - Astral Weeks
When I was close to graduating high school I accidentally ended up becoming full gay by constantly making eye contact with another guy and became physically dependent on Radiohead and Modest Mouse.
Girl Band - Holding Hands With Jaime
Yesterday I got in a barfight with what was apparently a damaged ex marine and now everyone I know hates me
Hella - Hold Your Horse Is
Sat next to 3 girls in a full train and once i introduced myself, 1-2 other guys noone knew next to us jokingly introduced themselves too. From t hen it was just awkward
>>68751814
fuck me that was funny to me for some reason, don't think I'll ever understand american's reverence for soldiers.
Din[A] Tod - Westwerk
I was talking to a girl who was a bisexual in the smoking area of a bar. She commented something like "wow that girl is attractive" so I jokingly said "yeah sure let's go and fuck her", I guess she misheard me and thought I said "let's go and fuck" because she kept repeating that she had a boyfriend. So naturally enough I tried to repeat myself and explain what I meant, which confused her even more. It was a p dope awkward experience.

Why? I've only listened to Songtracks For The Blinds, still trying to figure out what the Swans are about.
>>68751964

Because all people are pathetic.
>>68752305
If everyone is pathetic, no one is.
