besides aesthetics I guess, Boris aren't as good a metal band as COM

If you want your boring post-rock or some noise rock or basic stoner rock then Boris is your band but COM, especially their early releases were pretty mesmerizing and came out with stuff that really hit that sweet spot between heaviness, aggression and psychedelia
