Blood Visions is a great album. He definitely had a lot of talent and was a definitely a big influence on todays garage rock scene. Guys like Thee Oh Sees and Ty Segal owe him a lot.

my pet peeve is that barely anyone has talked about how great the production was on this album. everyone loses their minds because of the blatantly intentional distortion.

my other pet peeve is when people make critiques for production without production literacy ""ess" sound" are you talking about the ride or the hats or just the high end in general???

Production on this album was amazing. He purposely had it mixed and mastered that way to achieve the distortion on it. It's an aesthetically perfect album
