I found David Bowie through a youtube video of 'worst songs by good artists' when I was younger.

The song shown before the 'worst song' in question became one of my favorite Bowie songs.

Yeah its also one of those albums where you hear the vocalist and you read the lyrics and its clear that the lead singer is trying to exorcise some demons.

The Malcolm in the Middle samples are also a clever way to juxtapose something kind of innocent and nostalgic with music and help get across the messages they're trying to communicate.
