Never been to Reddit
But knowing that the amount of people who browse Reddit is bigger than the amount that browse /mu/, and that those people tend to be normies, i assume /mu/ does actually have better discussion.
>>69910660

good album.
the shorter tracks do more for me than Do While though
>>69910510
Funny, I actually prefer Do While.
To each their own, I suppose.
>>69910529
don't get me wrong it's still a good track, and usually on ambient albums the longer tracks do appeal to me more, like on Stars of the Lid albums

How will this generation of music be remembered? I'm guessing:
>Kanye West, Beyonce and Taylor Swift will be the defining artists of today's culture
>Kendrick Lamar' and Solange's work will be considered important social commentary
>Danny Brown and Frank Ocean might still be popular in a few decades for various reasons
>Soundcloud/bandcamp will be considered today's underground subculture and a few notable trends (the various waves of vaporwave/sadboys/etc.) will retain cult followings
As a note, I don't really care much for these artists.
>>69910142
There is 0% chance anyone gives a fuck about Solange even 10 years from now.
>>69910307

>You've changed, man. You used to be about the music.
Which artist is Milhouse referring to?
/mu/
Every single episode of a tv show where they decide to parody rock music is fucking trash
Genesis
this is their best album.
why is is so criminally underrated
I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent.
>>69909936
I've been a fan since Invisible Touch, and was actually into Phil Colin's solo material before that. I got into their earlier material later on. I think all of it is really good. They were just a very different band after Gabriel and Hackett left.

how is this album so underrated? it's such great relaxing ambient. and most of the musical compositions are actually pretty interesting and engaging.
