Absolutely disgusting. I can't believe someone who has already rated a thousand albums still has a taste this entry level.
Listen to Golden Rain by Various Artists anyways.

it's odd that it's always vocalists but I guess it would be difficult to tell who it is on drums without specifically knowing unlike being able to recognize a vocalist.
Does this faggoty ass board appreciate Black Dice?
We don't appreciate your sailor mouth, mister
Yeah they're cool, never gonna top the debut but I like them

Go fuck yourself stupid cunt
>Oasis
>grown up in a poverty-stricken household in an economically ravaged city during a highly troubled and insecure time for the UK
>regularly got the shit kicked out of them by their deadbeat father
>both of them undereducated, with Noel Gallagher suffering from dyslexia to boot
>neither brother had any future prospects whatsoever; Noel working as a roadie for C-list Madchester bands and Liam getting by on petty crime and the dole
>end up writing some of the most life-affirming, self-confident, aggressively optimistic rock music of the last two decades
>grunge bands
>grown up in a highly affluent, highly comfortable period in late 20th century North America
>largely grown up in comfortable, sheltered middle-class households
>largely educated and capable of securing jobs whenever they felt like it
>end up becoming a movement defined by its cartoonish levels of angst, self-pity and whining
Why are Americans such pussies?
it doesnt matter because neither of them made good music
>Oasis
>Grunge Bands
Nice job comparing one band to an entire genre/scene. Also it is pretty evident, grunge was fueled by depression and a realistic worldview, whereas britpop (Oasis) was fueled by escapism, primarily to a better British time. That's why they are obsessed with the Beatles. You're so fucking stupid.

And this guy is pretty much right anyways.
How come all the good British bands/ singers had Irish ancestry?

Where is Definitely Maybe
>Side one:
1. I Heard Her Call My name, 15 minutes long, and with Cale's viola overdubbed
2. Guess I'm Falling in Love, but fuzzed up
>Side two
1. White Light/White Heat
2. Sister Ray
>Move the gift, lady godiva's operation, here she comes now onto S/T
Now it's the greatest of all time
>>74824787
Actually good idea.
>Have more Ice Cube and Eazy E
>Take out the dumb filler remix tracks.
>Add actual aggression
>Make the instrumentals more hardcore and have Express Yourself be the "happy song with the nice uplifting beat"
>>74824787
>the gift, lady godiva's operation, here she comes now onto S/T
that would make the self titled shittier desu just throw those is the garbage
>>74824787
WL/WH isn't a real album it's just a Sister Ray vehicle
Is Michael Gira a tortured genius?
>A court is in session, a verdict is in
>No appeal on the docket today, just my own sin
>The walls are cold and pale, the cage made of steel
>Screams fill the room
>Alone I drop and kneel
>Silence now the sound, my breath the only motion around
>Demons cluttering around, my face showing no emotion
>Shackled by my sentence
>Expecting no return
>Here there is no penance
>My skin begins to burn...
I mean, damn.
Hes been playing the same songs for the past 2 years.
Hes sick of the people hes working with.
He is an edgelord who knows how to write good songs. Does that make him a tortured genius?
I guess i grew out of tortured artists singing about how miserable they are back when I was 16
I have a large writing commitment for the morning, and it will take me upwards of 13 hours to complete it.
In that time, I'd like to work through the night listening to great instrumental or relatively unintrisuive music to keep me focused yet relaxed.
Any tips for albums/playlists/artists to check out?
Thank you /mu/.
