BASED
what's snsd's first performance and is it filmed
>>71857724
word i was just gonna request an omg thread
This is literally what happened when I ask for some recs on /bleep/
How can a bunch of people be THIS elitist about just dance music.
We need a friendlier version of /bleep/. Any like-minded people agree with me?
>>71857696
kys
i'm convinced /bleep/ is for people that go clubbing alone.
Truly the worst general on /mu/, shittier than kpop. They're faggots that will shit on festival edm but have the same intention as all of the other festival normies when listening to music.
>I must fight this sickness, find a The Cure
Seriously? Jesus fucking christ
>Pay no mind to us. We're just a Minor Threat
Oh boy
>Come to town, ring our bell, welcome to the neutral milk hotel
ugh
>Went and talked to my main bitch
>she pissed
>put that bitch in the hospital
>hospice
Holy fucking shit dude
>album version of a song is 5 minutes
>live version is over 10 minutes
>minutes of the song is the band talking to the crowd
>>71857684
sammy has really been on a downward spiral since his show got canceled
>>71857692
Which is a shame because I found world peace to be kind of funny
Who won /mu/s best album? Didnt check yesterday.
The meme one
>>71857650
but they're both memes...
Great albums that have aged bad
>>71857602
i don't see how its aged really. all of the sounds on that album remain unique to it.
only time i can consider something aging badly is when everybody just starts copying it and reuses the same synths and drums. which isn't the case with aphex twins music.
>>71857620
It's aged because of the poor mastering. The songs were all recorded basically on casette tapes in Richards bedroom, but the music is still good
>>71857905
I kind of like the lo fi quality desu
What is your favorite album so far this year? Need some new shit to listen to
Pic related, it's mine
>>71857506
This is dope, thanks anon
>>71857478
brutalisms my fav too, but havent heard much
ITT: Good bands that couldn't play their way out of wet paper bags
I'll start: Pink Floyd. Shit drummer, shit bassist, OKAY keys at best, sounds like a kid who's taken lessons for a year.
good guitarist in gilmore era, but Syd played like a /mu/tant with no pedals. Roger Waters singing is more like acting, admittededly Syd, Gilmore, and Wright have good voices.
overall though, both versions of pink floyd honestly couldn't play. they were a shitty band but still good somehow.
>>71857331
the fact that none of them were trained musicians force Pink Floyd to be creative and eventually, after a lot of experimentation, find a sound of their own. And the fact they weren't as musical proficient as bands like Yes or King Crimson made Pink Floyd more accessible leading to commercial success.
>>71857433
>weren't as musical proficient as
It's like arguing between high efficient Engeneers (Yes/KingCrimson) and highly creative Architects (Pink Floyd)...
>>71857331
>OKAY keys at best, sounds like a kid who's taken lessons for a year.
are the black keys pleb tier?
is this a good album?
is it underrated?
Recommend me some bands that sound like this pls.
>>71857285
Legit one of the worst albums ive ever listened
Thickfreakness is demigod tier.
Everything else I could do without.
>>71857285
Rubber Factory has some songs that are fun to play but apart from that I don't like em.
Is this true?
>>71857217
why is neofolk associated with nazis?
also are his parents the most objective of them all?
>>71857306
because many neofolk artists also do martial industrial.
and it's got "neo" in the name so it's like "neo-nazi" and some neofolk dudes are neo-nazis.
>>71857372
>martial industrial
What's that?

So what does /mu/ think of Pitchfork's Britpop list?:
http://pitchfork.com/features/lists-and-guides/10045-the-50-best-britpop-albums/?page=1
I think it's complete wank that includes a ton of albums that aren't even Britpop on it, but is that just me?
