Pink Failed
What album has the most replay value for you? Not necessarily your favorite, but one you can consistently come back to over and over again and not get tired of?
Pic related for me, especially when the weather stars to get warmer.

Good choices. Any specific album for SKM?
>>72216259
I get how people think this album is crushingly depressing, but I think a major part of the replay value is that it's also so uplifting and beautiful. There's this idea of really cherishing your close relationships and still thinking that loving someone is worth it even if separation is painful. I feel like that's what sets this album apart from totally bleak depression-mongering albums.
Been listening to this album for a while now i've listened to it before but now it changed the way i look at certain situations. I guess what im trying to say is i understand things better now. Whats your favorite song by this dude or favorite album by him. My personal favorite is Metropolis

ignorant
>raps over abrasive 140bpm beats
>favourite bpm: roughly 140 (DNA, humble, bitch don't kill my vibe, money trees, maad city, poetic justice, backseat freestyle, the blacker the berry, swimming pools)
>spits fast
>heavy UK music influence (rat boy / burial samples)

DEATH IS REAL
Sun Phil Moon
They called /mu/ the best discussion board on 4chan
There was no place like it, on the whole website, like /mu/ when I was a youngster
No place in the world like it, and it was so fabulous. Now it's shrunk down to almost entirely shitposting...you see
And, I still remember in my mind how things used to be, and...uh, you know, I feel very bad
But people from all over the world came here...from all over the world...it was the playground they called it the playground of 4chan...over here
Anyways, you see, I...uh...you know...I even got, when I was very small, I even got lost on /mu/, but they found me...on the...on the board
And we used to discuss good music here, discussing overnight..they don't do that anymore. Things changed...you see
They don't have quality discussion anymore on the board
(you) deserve this bump more than another k*ndr ck thread
>listening to boring shit
here, have a better, deeper album for you to discuss
the shill hath been beckoned
be warned
thoughts on this?
Are we due a 2007 revival yet?
All of a sudden became super attractive in 2013.

>has an anime sticker on his guitar
Is he a closet weeb?
He's a closet genetic mishap.
>>72215797
Nah. He's openly English.
Don't think so, but yeah, he's a fan of Astro Boy, Attack No. 1 & Abandon the Old in Tokyo.
it finally clicked
>i finally forced myself to like a mediocre album
congrats op
The only good songs from this album are the ones that had music videos.
>>72215640
>>72215627
Looks like it hasn't clicked for them OP.
Plainsong seems a little boring at first, but it's GOAT.
Can we have a YMO thread please? They're so under appreciated. Solid State Survivor and Naughty Boys are two of my favorite albums of all time.
Their S/T is also very underrated. Computer Games might be my favorite song
>>72215521
I felt like the luckiest man alive when I found someone on Soulseek with FLAC copies of the best CD releases of all their albums.
>>72215503
one of those bands i love because of the members but dont actually give much a shit about their actual music. each one has at least one solo record that surpasses anything ymo put out. all have great solo or other projects that released amazing music...
When are you frail white suburban kids going to admit that Kendrick Lamar stole the whole concept and production style of "DAMN." from Vince Staples' "Shyne goldchain II"?
Every big name hip hop artist has the same gimmick in 2017 - fuck drumpf and fuck white people; pay me because I'm depressed. It's getting old.
>>72215404
Vince staples recently said Kendrick is the best rapper alive and nobody comes close, so even if he considers himself second best, by his own admission he is nowhere close to that level. >>72215442
>>72215404
Holy shit, thank you OP! I listened through "DAMN." like three times the day it was released and the whole time it felt like deja vu, like I had heard something very similar before, but I couldn't figure out why. It's been years since I listened to Vince Staples. But now I know exactly why it felt like deja vu, thank you.
