Future Days>Ege Bamyasi>Tago Mago
Future Days = Tago Mago ≥ Ege Bamyasi
>>72218082
Tago Mago is fucking boring at times and the production is so shitty.
you my nigga op, also delay 68>monster movie but all their old material is great
It's been a great week or so for some of our mainstay dance / dance derivative electronic artists. Which is your favorite and why?
I like Actress and Clark but I haven't heard their new stuff yet. Narkopop is my current aoty

Why was/is this dude so depressed?
>>72217870
Probably cause he's black in America, or some shit.
That said, Kid has definitely taken a serious dive in quality after Indicud. Jesus fuck what happened tho
he's pretty corny, i almost put him in the same category as the hopsins, logics and childish gambinos
Clinical depression, most likely a chemical imbalance. That, or he's intuited that life is meaningless.
>he thinks he can dislike an artist without hearing their entire discography
Is that Pitbul from Hardcore Pawn?
>He thinks he can have an opinion on any artist without having heard every song they've produced, even before it's been released
>>72217834
Does this apply to bands/projects like Bull of Heaven? Because they have albums that are literally light years long.
Is he /ourguy/?

Misgendering is bad anon :^)
But seriously everything after their first album isn't that great. I really liked Transgender Dysphoria Blues tho.
anyone wanna join our music listening discord? memes, anime and trolling will result in being kicked.

>no fun allowed: the discord
No thanks, we already have a full board for that.
Go shill somewhere else.
>>72217741
nah it's a music listening discord, not a meme discord
>>72217785
Comedy is a natural part of life. If you tried to have a conversation about radiohead or some shit with a coworker then shrieked 'NO JOKES ALLOWED WE'RE HAVING A SERIOUS DISCUSSION' then less and less people would want to talk with you. If you have a problem with off topic shitposting that's one thing but when you outlaw all memes and anime which tie in to music at times then you just seem like a legalistic cunt. As for the trolling thing, people should be wise enough to know when they're being trolled and just ignore the situation. The reason these rules were put in place is probably because the mods don't know how to lead a decent conversation and don't even participate in discussion except to say 'don't do that'. I've seen this in discords before and it kills conversation. Laid back discords that stay laid back always have better content. This isn't even considering the pure retardation of inviting people from a largely unrestricted plaform to a restricted one, you're wasting your time by constantly having to ban people for breaking your arbitrary rules.
can someone explain to me what muse and radiohead have in common to always get compared?
inb4 they're both shit

/thread
>>72217645
They're both british and make interesting and relevant pop rock (well at leas until recently). A Moon Shaped Pool and Drones both sound like parodies of the band's past music, so they have that in common too.
Thoughts on Jonny Greenwood?

3/10 would bang if I was drunk
He made two of my favourite movie soundtracks with There Will Be Blood and The Master.

What's up with his fucking chin?
Can somebody fucking explain the feats of this album? Why is it so important or meaningful?
Do I need to be in a certain headspace?
It's not bad, that's for sure, but someone please tell me why is so highly regarded, I'm not even trolling. It's something related to the time period in which it was released? The production? The spoken word-ish experimentation? The nineties emo sound?
Same goes for Remain in light, good LP but in all honesty I can't "get" it. Before you wonder, I'm really trying to get into so-called mu-core, with disappointing results. I'm doing it because, apparently, you have to understand those album since they're so fundamental and all that jazz.
Someone please, enlighten me.
>inb4 bait
No, it's not, fuck off.
being a aspie helps
i would also like to know
I don't really get the record either. But that's just how things go, different people react differently to music. You can't be convinced into liking it. You either like it or don't.
>Lou Reed
>Lorde
Omg do you guys think Lorde is the reincarnation of Lou?
I thought her first singles were kind of cool honestly, but I listened to one of her new ones and it sounded like typical watered down pop garbage
she's looking

What does /mu/ think of Aesop Rock?
I love him.
He doesn't make Ironic trap or shitpost on Twitter so /mu/ never talk about him.

>>72217413
I mean, you have Earl in your top 4, which denotes you from bieng a drone, but lil boat?
>>72217413
Horrific
>>72217458
It's a vibe album. Lil Boat is up there with Black Saint or A Love Supreme to me. No message but just beautiful emotional blobs. Lil Boat is basically electro-trap jazz.
