I can't think of anywhere more honest than /mu/ when it comes to critique and I really need help.

I just made this track yesterday and I'm not sure about the vocals. I like the lyrics, and I like overall vibe of the beat, but I'm not sure what to do.
Some people say they really like the raw vocals (but I hate my own voice) and some prefer the robot voice that I'm more commonly known for.
I'm at a crossroads because It's a very simplistic song and I don't want to overproduce it. I initially had a bunch of echoes and stutters planned, but I honestly like the simplicity of it and don't want to muddy it up.
Any thoughts?

I don't feel like your song does anything interesting melodically, and it has very little done after the guitar and drums have entered that make it feel like the song has progressed. Your voice is fine, but the lyrics seem a little generic. I didn't mind the chord progression, but nothing really happens in the song to make me actually enjoy it.
Which era of 90s music do you prefer? The rustic grungy 90s (Late 1991-96), or the futuristic girly homosexual 90s(1997-99)?

Good news. The GAS albums have been great.
I saw him live recently and it was so disappointing. He played another project though. Has anyone been to a GAS show before?
>Nearly two decades after the last official GAS album release, Wolfgang Voigt returns to his iconic Ambient project with a brandnew full-length.
>NARKOPOP continues the classic GAS aesthetic of symphonic scope and subtle variation, taking the listener on an otherworldly journey to the depths of rapture and reverie.

ITT: Name your favorite album of theirs (provided you enjoyed at least one) and the feels you associate with their sound. Yes, it's highschool-core for me also.
The "Uneasy Listening" mix is surprisingly what got me to better appreciate abstract concepts in literature, which at the time was of excellent for passing AP Lit .
Not so excellent when you're off to treatment with a borderline diagnosis, but that's neither then or now. Their songs were of significance to me during more impressionable years. Maybe this thread's a Lost Cause but
tl;dr- what does /mu/ think of H.I.M.?

I thought Bam was cool when I was in high school and I'm still a big fucking CKY fan, but I could just never get into HIM
