Allright autists, buckle in for some rambling that I only post here because, of all people, you guys get me best.

I always imagine these weird, intricate scenarios for when we go to Equestria. I imagine that we get sent in groups of, say, 20-30, each group to their own Equestria. The groups all consist of waifufags, each one has a seperate waifu so there is no arguments and fighting, at least initially. The groups are picked based on who'll get along best.

At a designated place, there is a terminal where we can access all the fandom's content at a simple request. But, best of all, /mlp/ is there. Sure, we can't all see each other physically, but we can talk and post about our new lives. I know it sounds a bit silly and out of place, but I imagine it like this because I don't want to lose all the cool stuff that I remember from the fandom, or all the stuff that's still to come out.

Does this sound autistic? I think it sounds autistic.

If anyone's gonna get me, it's you guys. We're all in this ride together, best friends until the end of time.

Almost daily I imagine the moments after I die. I wake up in a younger body, I'm around 20 years old, when I was at my peak physically. I'm in a grassy field on the edge of a forest. When I look around I see people. There are around 20, all waking from some type of sleep. We all get up and look around. We know where we are, this place was on our minds when we were breathing our last breath. It's Equestria, as beautiful and peaceful as we imagined it. We're lost for words, pure joy is all we can feel. And then we talk, overwhelmed with things to say. All those times we argued and fought and discussed and loved each other, all of it on /mlp/. We're all so alike. Some of us are tall, short, fat, skinny, fit, attractive, ugly, but we're all united by one thing: we never stopped loving pony. We're instant friends, we feel a mutual admiration and respect for one another. We have made it. We set off for a town on the horizon. It's a long walk but we all enjoy every single second of it, remeniscing about all the fun times we had, seperated geographically but not mentally. We get each other. As we near the town, we can start to make out figures. Ponies, just as we had imagined them. Some of us cry with joy, some of us run ahead, too excited, and some of us just smile and walk forward. We have made it and we're ready to start our new lives.

Thanks guys... Sometimes I just need an extra boost of reassurance so I know I'm not crazy or something. Well, maybe a lot of the times. One of my friends is in a similar boat, but talking about "the next life" makes him really uncomfortable. He saw one of the "noose" images that has Equestria inside it and it made him super weirded out and depressed for a few days. He's not suicidal thankfully.

I use this idea that they'll be there for all of us one day to help me get through the day and through life. But the few times I've shared my feelings he thought about that noose image and got uneasy. A while back some anons tried to make a religion after the show and Celestia. I really wish they had fully developed it, because at this point when people ask me I can't nonironically say the truth.

It’s funny, a few days ago I only really came to /mlp/ to see if everyone was still here keeping the board alive. Decided on a whim to pop into this thread when it started. Feels threads were never my thing back when I first got into the fandom, usually stories in AiE had enough feelsy moments in them for me. Seeing everyone here talking about how much they’ve grown as people, how much the show has impacted them emotionally or spiritually, just… really… human stuff. Its beautiful. Its beautiful in a way that can only be described as Human.
And reading these stories, man, I just can’t explain it. I feel sad, yet, happy. Like I just got home after being lost for a long time and seeing that the lights were still on. That feeling. That happiness that I found my destination, yet the sadness that I didn’t see it sooner, you know?
Then we got the stories of when its all over what’ll happen. I get the folks that say they want to be able to move on, I do. But, at the same time, we’ve all been here for so long. We’ve all shared laughter, growth, tears, just so much. To think that when the final episode airs we’ll just be able to hit the switch and not look back, well… It’ll be probably the hardest thing to do. I think back to phrase, “The Ride Never Ends” and I… don’t know. Maybe it doesn’t have to.
We could do what Lauren did and keep it alive for those that come after us. Keep these stories, these memories alive for the next generation and their kids. Inspire them the way we were by this show.

Good point. Honestly, FOE is one of those things that wasn’t terrible, just in really poor taste. Like the Sonic fandom before us and Furries before them, we should’ve kept that to ourselves. We burned a lot of folks and alienated ourselves to would-be sympathizers. But that doesn’t mean we can’t take a page from Ludovico M. and go in grace.

Nearly all of the people that saw the pony shitposting of 2012 still hates our shit and they can't wait to get this board nuked and all of us permaed once the show ends.
People have tried to reconciliate with other boards several times after these years but people still are heavily acid agaisnt ponies being allowed outside of here and when Hiro asks for suggestions about removal of boards there is a fucking load of shitposting about removing /mlp/.

And think about the fate of that show and what it could mean for FIM? Imagine it's 20 years from now, and they're still forcing out episodes; S. Korean animation that's stiff, rigid and souless, even Pinkie; voice-acting where you can say you don't hear RD, TS or the nuances make them feel alive and complex, you just hear the VAs sounding like them-they want to sound better just as much as you do, but their throats wearied with age and their wills torn down slowly over the years from what they've read in their lines; and writing that's not made to make the viewer feel good watching, it's to fill a 26 episode quota as staff capable of good writing either have no interest or are priced out on the cheap end, so you get either completely out of place scenarios, or complete retreads of previous episodes.
