If he wants to talk about things he can improve. Definitely the huge, glaring flaw with the quest is that the QM's English is really bad.
I know English isn't his first language, but when all your language and prose is stilted, it's quite hard to get through.

Also - and this is probably related to his language - his descriptions are pretty crappy. The little I played, he just didn't do enough to give me a decent idea of what's going on, engage me, and allow me to make a decent decisions.

always remember that while you describe the action, you might have a particular scenery in your head but the players only have what you are describing. You don't have to go full Tolkien on them but just throw in some little bits like "...while a cold wind made the ghastly trees shiver in the faint light of the moon" or something like that. Don't start every post with a paragraph of scenery description, just sprinkle in some throughout the entire thing. Except when you're jumping/arriving in a new place, then you can go for a "verbal establishing shot".

3 Qm A makes another post incorporating the previous imput and leaves a prompt

Most of the thread likely never played RGS, a good portion probably weren't here when it was running. The reason humans aren't liked much is because humans aren't liked much by the people around. Writers didn't write about humans for a while, the exclusively pony fans trickled in while the human fans got their human stories elsewhere.

It's the same reason the incest thread is almost exclusively humans. That's what the writers wrote about, people that wanted ponies went elsewhere. That's how thread tastes develop.

It's not the fact that the MC is human that bothers me. In your case, it's that you're a knight in armour who thought he was dead, and that it's the only interesting information about the quest that we have so far.
You dumped us in the middle of nowhere with a character already set - so no chargen, which isn't a bad thing in itself either, but then we have nothing to do. There is no real decision to make. The only thing I can think of after reading your post is walking either towards the castle or the village.

Basically you write a lot of prose for nothing. In a whole 4 paragraphs, you said

There's nothing motivating us to do anything in the long run, or even particularly in the short run. There is no immediate danger to avoid or fight against, and there is no threat that we are aware of, and unless there is some kind of connection between the world where the MC came from and Equestria - which would bring a whole lot of problems of another kind - we're essentially going to be stuck here forever, without any goal. Being a knight, the MC's goal was to protect and serve a cause in his previous world, and now he can't do that.

Your first post could have been a good exposition, but it needs a follow-up, and the only thing we can do is go towards the village. I think you should have gotten us to first contact in a second post, and started things there.
