This is really news to me. I've been around for a while and always heard that CC was like super important. Mango was supposed to be an 'everyman' type of character. Her life before Vampirism was a beige boring nothingness that she was mostly content with. Her family was ordinary and had drama like any real family. But she was once happy and her condition has made her less moral.

She got Bs and Cs in school, and was bullied a bit early on for being one of only a few bat ponies there. Eventually she grew up and found a clique like most ponies. She wanted to go to a culinary school, but her mother refused to pay for it. Before that Mango had had a good childhood, but once her mother decided that Mango was an adult things got worse at home. Mango ran the family fruit stand for a while and was good enough at that to open a full store, but it never really did well, breaking even most of the time by pennies. When P-mart got a branch in her suburb her store closed nearly immediatly.

Before that though her Father was diagnosed with Cancer and instead of dealing with it, her mother left the family. Mango never forgave her mother for that. When Mango's dad died, her family mostly moved away from Las Pegasus. She last saw her brother at the funeral, where he said he needed a new start. Her mother didn't attend.

Within six months of her father's death she'd be a Vampire. She's got quite a victim complex and refuses to blame herself for her actions sometimes. It's these kind of amoral ponies, the ones that refuse to believe themselves amoral, that are the most dangerous. In her own mind, Mango has made all the 'best' choices.
