Why do people like Showa.It's not as if though I hate Showa, there's just legitimately nothing interesting that it can offer me.

What going to make or break the Full Bottles for me is going to be how they interact with the rest of the belts and weapons, specifically if anything else in the line can read them.

Drive had 4 toys that read most of Shift Cars and played unique sounds, so they were fine. Ghost eyecons could really only be read by the Ghost Driver, so that severely limited the collectables' functionality.

Hopefully the DX Claws Dragon adapter has some electronics in it and can read all the bottles.

I know I'm making another Double comparison in a show that's already full of them, but if the Bottles were closer to Gaia Memories in that they made their own sounds and melded together to make the form announcements, they'd be a little more interesting on their own. God, Having Genm Level 2 and Dangerous Zombie's themes in the OST is beautiful.

The Yongou specials were actually pretty good.

I haven't seen Faiz, but I'm surprised at how prominently Inui was featured in the Showa vs Heisei Rider movie, the GP3 movie and the Yongou specials.
Was Faiz really popular in Japan at the time, and is it still looked upon fondly today? I know it's not really well-liked here, but Inui's depiction and Faiz's suit really makes me want to watch the show.

Faiz did pretty well in both ratings and merchandising back in the day, although the ratings weren't up to Agito's level. Also had the highest box office for a Rider movie until All Riders vs Dai-Shocker.

The show has a constant narrative and often used cliffhangers, but also misunderstandings to delay things (including the always annoying "character is seemingly transformed and acting out of character, while refusing to speak. That's not suspicious at all!") and overall the plot just falls apart towards the ending, with a bunch of plot elements from the middle of the show just ignored by then.

Now we're averaging in the 3-4% range due to the lack of Set Meters (the devices in the aforementioned TV sets) and a stronger growth in online streaming/non-television viewing of shows. We have been and will be continuing to see a steady change in how Rider's formatted as new Asahi, Toei, and Bandai staff come in and begin to recognize the massive demographic shift.
