The designs in general is probably what kept a lot of people away giving Ex-Aid it's inconsistant Q1. And they would have started working on Build in maybe February when Ex-Aid only had about 20 episodes that hadn't recovered a whole lot compared to normal for Rider.

Honestly I have to say, I like this part of the setting, it makes me hope the show will be divided into three acts or parts. Kind of like Goseiger where you had three distinct main enemy factions. First the space-based Warstar, then the UMA-based Yuumajuu, then the robot-based Matrantis enemies, with something (Brajira) linking them all together for the last quarter end-game.

It would be good from a toy selling perspective, too, I think.
Have the Bottle themes be specified for defeating the enemy type he's facing in the particular cour. The first few episodes of each part, or just each half of the episode, being dedicated to him having to deal with a new type of kaiju type and having to use his intellect to figure out what would be the best type of essence to synthesize to create the "best match" to defeat the enemies.
Think of how in Fourze, Gentarou would have to experiment a bit with the Switches to see which one would be the best in defeating the particular enemy of the week. That kind of already fits with the description of

Then in the final cour you have him going up against whoever unleashed the Skywall from Pandora's box that split Japan in the first place.
I kind of hope I'm right and that is the approach they'll take with Build, because I think it would be a rather interesting thing to do in Rider, even if it would be going back to being formulaic and MoTW-based compared to how Ex-Aid has been. If not, I hope they do it differently in a way that pleasantly surprises me.

Duplicate suits are often a thing, they just have slight changes more often than not. Roidmude, for example, were mostly recycled suit parts.

Ex-aid goes with making their grunt suits actually people, so re-using them isn't as jarring and is really fun when, say, Motos shows back up.

It has been made clear that to finish KRC, a rideplayer must get all GashaThropies, get infected with all the virus strains and get a BV2 so the player can transform into chronos, as only chronos can beat gemdeus.

Even if she is not who finishes the final boss (being gemdeus or gemchronos) her becoming the next chronos is the next logical step.

On one hand, it would make sense for Nico to unlock the Cronus armor along with some immunity to the Gemdeus virus following treatment, but that would bounce up her level tiers to extraordinary levels beyond the others for doing very minimal work.

On the other hand, I would want Kuroto to gain Cronos because he does deserve a proper upgrade instead of just DZ again. Plus a fight between the two Dans has an opportunity to be satisfying. I would really want this, but then there would be no end-boss for Muteki to defeat, so I should prepare for the unexpected.

Meanwhile, his second Gashat has a dark, (almost) black front side, and its back side is lighter than its front, but darker than the first Gashat's back side. It really doesn't matter if the toys "sold well" or "sold better".
As mentioned in the interviews the budget for Rider hasn't been increased ever since the end of Kabuto. No matter how much Bandai makes Toei is still getting the same amount of money for the show. When everything is getting more expensive to produce Toei will have to cut many corners to keep the show running. Also with the low ratings and new TV regulations every year it is just difficult to satisfy everybody.
This is always why they are extending the franchise into other models.
