I second the show looking really good in 1080p, almost cinematic at times. The camera work and visual direction for most of the series was a great step up from any of the previous series, and a level of quality that I've yet to see in any of the series after it reach.
It's what caused one of my major complaints I had about Ex-Aid -- it looked so low budget and amateurish compared to Wizard and Gaim. It has its moments though.

Going from Neo-Heisei shows to Agito has been such an experience. Even just the directing feels so different and interesting, also seeing so many civilians die rather than being saved at the last moment is pretty damn cool. I'm still fairly early on so there hardly has been any big information/twist revealed, but the pacing isn't really an issue... for now.

I just hope Build actually makes me feel something other than boredom. Toeitoku has be pretty fucked lately, Ex-Aid was a nice change from that, but Ninninger, Ghost and Kyuranger don't leave me optimistic.

Almost about exactly a year now, thanks for reminding me. My first toku were the first few Garo series in fall 2015, then in summer 2016 I started Kamen Rider W. Then in fall 2016 I started Sentai with Shinkenger.

Only seen W - Gaim (haven't gone past episode 27 in a while now, was stuck on episode 23 for even longer because of OZC) Amazons S1 & S2, the First & Next reboot movies and 15 episodes of Kuuga on bluray so far. I only watch toku intermittently, I have spans of lots of modern toku watching (Sentai, Rider, Garo) and then even longer spans of no toku.
I'll watch the next 5 episodes of Kuuga on bluray soon since they're out, and then I'll work my way through Gaim now that OZC has finished it. Then when he puts out possibly Den-O and Decade on BD I'll watch those too.
