No, that's the Zehirut Eved from Alpha 3, which sorta evolved from the original Zehirut in order to uuuh... combat the STMC? I don't remember.
The Septuagint and its virtually unlimited amount of resources could PROBABLY spawn a Zehirut, if enough data was gathered.
Remember, both the Septuagint and Astranagant had the data of all of the Londo Bell's fighting machines.

Meanwhile having the data of OG's fighting machines would leave you with the SRX, a couple of Grungust, (unlikely) the Valsion and the Granzon, Cybuster and... a bunch of Gespensts? Probably the Hucky 008L, too.
Meanwhile @1 Londo Bell had basically all of that AND shit like Mazinkaiser and Shin Getter.

Basically, Char tries to drop Axis because he takes what Neue Regisseur said to heart and agrees that humanity does need to evolve so nuking the planet and making it so the ones who didn't fucking die go to space for instant newtypes should be the best way to do it.
But then when the Nu overloads its psychoframe and pushes back Axis with everyone's help Char realizes that mankind has already begun to change/evolve/whatever.

Meanwhile in OG2 it's just Neue Regisseur trying a different approach for his plan.

Stern Neue actually got nerfed compared to Stern Regisseur.
Stern Neue has WLB, but Stern Regi's Ersbunde had SSSS as opposed to AAAA.
I've had defending ships take 10K damage from that after the E Field reduction.

In comparison to @1, I scooted across the whole final stage with just the SRX and point blank HTB'd all three bosses in a single turn.

That still makes it more difficult than 90% of SRW final stages where your team is already basically invincible due to upgrades, even without defensive terrain, there's nothing to defend, and you can nuke the boss in a single turn as soon as you have one or more units in range of it.

Last time I played it I had to use a hex editor to reset my turncount because no one ever told me there was a turn limit to carrying over my data and I had been playing through maps at the pace of a snail, unless there was a retreating boss around.

Turn limit was 220 turns I think? I had like 200 by stage 21.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any Last Fighter Twinfetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I'd imagine quite a few times, actually. The problem is you can't know the answer to questions like this because you don't always know the things they didn't include, just the things they did.

Anyway, the problem is just with Goldran's general arc workings. The first half's plot is "let's go around the Earth all over the place in our magic train robot and look at ancient sites for gemstones that may or may not be giant robots!" So that's fairly standard, they'd probably have Goldran's debut onscreen, have the kids run off to get Advenger, and you'd cut back to their plot (and get them) at roughly the point Silverion becomes a thing. That's easy.

But the problem comes after that. See, at the end of the first half, Great Goldran's combination opens up a giant space railway. And then the ENTIRE SECOND HALF is a deep space trip going planet hopping while the Walzac Empire follows them, also being the debut of Captain Shark (and a few comboattacks, but that's about it for ally debuts unless they do something nuts like Dran's kids). And this is absolutely vital to the show because the entire focus of the villains and the heroes is to get to a legendary planet multiple galaxies away (by the way, Goldran tech be bullshit yo. And not just the Legendra stuff either.) that has a very great treasure on it.


So one half's earth shenanigans, the second half's really fucking deep space shenanigans, you can't miss the second half or the whole show goes strange, and you can't miss the first half in the debut game because that'd be like starting Gaogaigar's plot right after the debut of Genesic Gaogaigar. It's doable, but it'd probably be really weird.

So far, the two most underwhelming upgrades to the main mech are Great Goldran, and Great Da Garn GX.

Great Goldran is almost exclusively used as an attack (the one time it wasn't, it didn't do anything cool or interesting), while Great Da Garn GX has worse attacks than Da Garn X (a bunch of those attacks belong to Gaon, the robot that combined with Da Garn, while the one's Great Da Garn GX gets are boring compared to most of Da Garn X's attacks).

I noticed an interesting pathing thing in OG1 the other day; in Siebel's assult on Columna, one of the Barrelions heads off orthogonally to the rest of its group for a turn as they move closer to the station. W fixed that. They consider 0% less of an issue than current-highest HP but they're also obsessed with hitting the highest number of targets possible. So if you have two units sitting next to each other the enemy will pretty much ALWAYS try to use Combo Attack. And this causes the enemy phase to last forever and a fucking day unless you stagger your units.

The thing about Neo is that its pathing AI is poorly designed. If you're in a wide open space like the baseball field, you're probably fine. If the enemies are flying, they're usually fine.

You get into a town with lots of buildings, or a place with lots of elevation changes, or tight corridors, or just general obstacles? The enemies will bounce off each other, run the entire opposite direction, get stuck next to walls, clog up at chokepoints, spend one move doing a thing and then their next turn reversing that thing, and just generally be really fucking dumb.

It's possible to make Tobikage show up in a stage in UX where you have to reduce a Hound Vajra to 10% HP. This is done by having one of the ninja robots or Elshank get reduced to 30% HP. Since Tobikage doesn't know or care about the actual stage objective, he'll just go after the highest-HP enemy in range, which is going to be the Hound Vajra. So boom, oneshotted enemy, you lose the stage 'cause Ranka died.

2 pairs, both at 140 will minimum, and ajdacent. Person initiating the MB has to be the person with the skill that lets them do that as the main unit of the pair. You pick your weapon and then your target, and select "Maximum Break".

A bit, but there's much less route-split material so it's not quite so bad.

It does feature the first instance of Reimu getting a more interesting stage than Marisa, though. 38R introduces Nue, while Marisa is busy setting up SSiB (which everyone already knew was going to be a thing). Of course, stage 39 flips that right back around with Marisa getting one of the best stages in the series (and picking up one hell of an upgrade in the process), but at least Remu got something.
