The reason AzraelNewtype of OT decided to take so long is to clean it up through a fairly arduous manual process (literally manually picking frames) - which Shout won't have to do because for DVD they can just leave it telecined as is.

Although at this point, is it really raws that hold OT back? Or is it their general workload and backlog? I mean, I'd be surprised if after all those years the dude is still bothering with the idea (which I might've suggested to him in the first place to everyone's peril, lmao)
