A lot of the Undead in Blade were great and had a lot of varied personalities and characterizations. I'm still fucking mad that the Tarantula and Tiger Undead had to get sealed to stop Mutsuki from being a faggot, and even then it didn't take until like six episodes before the end of the series

I actually had a moment in Wizard that really stuck with me, probably the only thing about that show besides Nitou that did. The episode was about a woman who had lost the house she grew up in and could no longer live there, and the phantom of the week tried to make her despair by destroying it. The whole episode was ultimately about letting go of the past and learning to move on with your life, and finding a new meaning to the word home.

This really hit me personally because a few years ago something similar happened to me. I lost the house that not only I grew up in, but my mother and and grandmother both grew up in as well. It was to be my inheritance, but my mother and I were essentially stabbed in the back by a family member, who took possession of the house from us and sold it off.

It remarkable how spot on it was for me, because that's kind of how it felt losing my home, like some monster had come in and stolen it, taken away something important that meant a lot to me, and tore it down just to do me harm. I especially connected with that feeling of being stuck and unable to move on because I still live in the same town, and I can't avoid seeing my old house on a regular basis, not to mention the woman's almost crippling desire to get possession of the house back.

I won't say the episode helped me get past it, that's something you come to terms with on your own, but it was the one episode of Wizard that really resonated with me. There may be no superheroes in real life that can swoop in and make everything better with a ring and some karate, but the message of moving on and finding a new normal for yourself is at least one to remember.

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking of going with the base form since I love the teal minidress, but have it blend into some light chest and shoulder armor cut to the shape of the dress. That way it's still girly but looks a bit more like characteristic rider armor. Think Colon from Chouju Sentai Liveman mixed with Iba Girl from Iba Liger.

Yeah, the poofy shoulders in model/charm/frill forms are actually supposed to be pauldrons! As for the chest armour, I was thinking a sweetheart neckline below the collarbones that then forms separate pec/boob plates like Kabuto's but I didn't draw it apart from a sluttier version in the minimal-armoured Pop form oops. Iba Girl is the cutest btw, I wish orange was used more in sentai.
I think the moulded hair design will look weird with the buggy eyes (and he already has "hair" in the form of his big feathery antennae) but I'll try to work in a few "fringe" designs in the face plate and see what works~

I'm the guy who suggested the framed face in the last thread. I apologize if I wasn't describing it to clearly, so I whipped up this in photoshop to help give an idea of what I meant.

My idea was basically just put like a very subtle bobcut on the helmet, so that the frame around the face gives that impression. Honestly, it's basically a moth themed Nadeshiko after going to the hair salon. I couldn't decide between the rounded top or the pointed top, thought I think the pointed top look more like the part in a girls hair with this style.

I like that idea, but it would make the dress armor look less like a dress and a bit too much like armor plates, IMO. I mean yeah riders are supposed to have armor but the idea for Himega was to be a rider based on feminization and crossdressing.

I like the idea of modular dresses though. Here's an idea, instead of the Y shape, the dress splits along vertical lines. Take a look at this picture of Iba Girl, >>13736312

What if mothrider's dress-armors had those seams on it too, but on the armor and everything, and when he changes dress forms, the dress armor breaks apart along those lines like Kabuto's cast off, then the new one reforms along the same lines?

That works. The real important thing is just having the lines to direct the eye and have the suit stand out against the frame more. Take OOOs body lines or Fourze's orange chest accents for example.

Personally I have no horse in this race though, I don't care for the idea but I figured you'll be working on this either way so some design advice wouldn't hurt.

Toy designer guy here. As long as everyone involved with this is here, I want to mention I'm still working on improving the design of the belt for Himega. Like that name by the way.

I've got a crazy workload right now so I won't be done for a while, but I've revamped the overall design, so the 2.0 will be nicer. Some ideas, the belt base has a heart shape, cause hearts are cute, though the moth is still the center piece like in the prototype, and the moth is still a separate mascot character that docks with the belt like Kivat or the Kabuto Zector. Everyone seemed to like that idea, right?

I'm still going with the lipstick that plugs into the side, only now the lipstick forms a lever that swings down as well as incorporating a turn mechanism. I'm also putting way too much thought into making the transformation lipsticks, I'm already imagining what the Legend Rider lipsticks would look like. Seriously they're going to be as detailed as the belt. I'll try to have it done when it's done, but we're talking a few days or more at least. Of course I'm open to suggestions.

God, I wish my actual job was this interesting. You'd think designing bloody toys for a living would be more fun.

Here's the prototype I posted last thread again for comparison. The moth in the center is staying, I think it's cute and I got a positive response, but yeah the lipstick implementation needed work. Now I still like the idea of a symmetrical belt having a single asymmetrical element, so I really want to keep the function of plugging in the lipstick, it just has more interactivity as a lever and a turner.

Also, what I'm imagining, is lipsticks work a bit like Gaia memories, in that they have sounds you can activate on their own. Just spitballing what I've got, you start with a simple cylinder and twist the bottom to advance the plastic lipstick, just like a real lipstick. The sound chip and button setup is house in the body, and the lipstick is also a press sensitive button,so when the rider presses it to his lips, it triggers and plays sounds like a Gaia memory.

I haven't had this much fun designing a thing in months. You know, even if nothing comes of this, I wanna thank /krg/ and whatever weirdo came up with a femboy rider for getting my engine going again. This is fun!
