imo it shouldn't be a crime, there is no risk involved if proper protection is used. We should strive to eliminate stigma. Same applies for people who dn't want to tell their birth gender to their partners. I'm a huge advocate for personal privacy and people having control over their own bodies.

As far as how they changed, my dad shaved his beard and got a hair transplant and has become really...not like flamboyant, but softer, I guess? Before he was extremely masculine. My mom shaved her head and never wears makeup anymore and generally acts like a man. Also, my dad wears afghans now. I cannot express how out of character that is (was?) for him.

If they all just vanished, then that would cause a lot of problems. But they would be the same problems that would occur if the majority of the population suddenly disappeared leaving a small number of any random group of people alone on a vast empty planet. All that crap you asked about would take a very far backseat to simple basic survival because we would basically be plunged into a dark age.

If they just die out, then their would hopefully be time to organize a transition and try and figure shit out. And then our success would also largely be determined on the cooperation of the "cis straight people" as they slowly lose control.
