It's an m60 barrel bag.
You can only use 10rd mags in the gun itself in the bag. The black belt pouch in the one cell holds a spare 10rd and 3 strippers, or just 6 strippers. There's some extra space in there though. Not enough for a 30rd mag though.
The part with the 30rd mag only holds the one. It's just a good carry bag that I sling over a shoulder.

Wasrs you buy today (Wasr 10) are made with all new production parts. Older Wasrs (10/63s) are surplus parts. SARs being even older imports are all surplus parts too, I believe. New is not better in this case. The surplus parts used on the old imports were originally destined for military usage. The new imports, they know they're only going to be used by American civilians.

I have heard of, and personally witnessed, new Wasr 10s having feed issues that just shouldn't happen.

So I drilled my receiver and mounted a legit pu scope on my mosin a few years back. Still haven't zeroed it. I was reading various methods on zeroing it. Has any one had luck with the "point of impact" method or did you have to shim/file? The only time i shot it I was atleast on paper to the right of center. Before some ass sends some dumb fucking reply, the picture physically moves when the elevation and windage knobs are moved.

You really should use the same ammo across the board if you sight in for it, especially with optics. Find what shoots best and keep to it. Pay an extra few cents/round if necessary. I'm a golden tiger guy myself, shoots much better than bear for me, and the longer boat tailed bullet yawing on the levels of 545x39 also has me sold. Shot enough critters etc to know that it works.
It may not make a huge difference at 100 yards with irons, but some 762x39 brands(wolf is the one I saw , also #notallwolf will run that slow) run 300fps slower through a chrono, so I'd bet that your 2000fps ammo will shoot fairly differently at 300 or 400 yards vs something actually achieving the full 2360-ish velocity, and that also has a boat tailed bullet to increase the ballistic coefficient on top of that.

You are just another one on the list senpai. I first started hearing about problems with new Wasrs in the summer of last year. Saw a Wasr take a shit in person at the 2016 Virginia nuggetfest. He was having feed issues with different ammo types and mag types. Since then it's been one incident after another. It's probably a fairly small percentage of them that have problems though.

I usually keep at least two uppers. One for my blaster that gets fed a steady diet of cheap 55gr or 62gr training ammo. I expect to burn out the barrel on this one every year or so. The other shoots nothing but 69gr-77gr factory match and handloads, which gets babied quite a bit because the barrels are fucking expensive and I sometimes have to rework loads for a new tube. They're put together for specific purposes and require different optics. It only made sense to spend a couple hundred and put together a separate lower.

Haven't had any problems with my 2016 production wasr. Nothing more than 150 through it so grain of salt. Only issues I've had was feeding with Yugo "style" mags from Serbia. Standard polish mags and bakelites haven't had any issues.

I dont know where you live but humidity is the enemy of storage.
Decades in a dry environment is worse than a week exposed to humidity.
For long term storage I vacuum seal my ammunition with a silica pack.
8 boxes at a time, 6 of these packs in a tall 50 cal can. (can was marked fuses (Or fuzes)).
960 rounds and fits about perfect, no wasted space.
Vacuum sealer is $35. Get the 8 inch and 6 ihch rolls for it $10 a roll, and 5G cloth silica bags $8. All can be had on Ebay with free shipping.
If your going for shotgun shells 40mm cans are awesome. 440 12ga shells fit perfectly but some will need to be in 5rnd boses due to shape.

There's a large number of AKs in my pictures using side rail optics, more than I would expect from just factory production. Izhmash has sold their side rail kit for many years commercially. As a matter of fact I bought 5 or 6 74M type side rails from Ukraine a few years ago.
