Since we're on the topic of the TWS Dogleg, does anyone have any experience with the Gen 3? The most in depth review of the rail I've found was for the Gen 2 and it turned out his rifle has pretty bad throat erosion that was affecting his accuracy to a severe degree.

Got a new AK in x39. What mags are good? I ran 160 rounds through it today and every single malfunction was because of the Pmag that came with it, pic related. I had to underload it to 20 rounds for it to function smoothly, and even then when loading it the follower would jam sometimes.

Is there a certain brand I should be looking for, or should I try to find surplus ones (steel or bakelite)?

That was me. I ended up taking it to a smith just to do a couple of other things and had him chase the threads so that the collar would actually take the fucking muzzle device since it swelled after being installed.

I still haven't shot it since then, so no idea if the device and collar are gonna go flying off on the first round or not.

Stuck casings are quite common with ARs, it's why so many people break stock pins and charging handles, mortaring rounds out. I'm no engineer, but even if 5.56 does have a very slight taper, the steeper taper of 5.45 and 7.62x39 casings seem to lend themselves to less friction on the extraction.

Another contributing factor could be that ARs have a very short cam track, thus they unlock and extract faster than AKs, which would make it an AR specific problem, and not a cartridge specific problem..
