None of your fucking business.

>But seriously is it actually illegal if they use the standardized sign then?
In Shillinois it's a Class A misdemeanor. Trespassing is entirely separate.
>>

Concealed means concealed. If the worst that could happen is a trespassing charge if you refuse to leave (which you should do politely), just risk it.

Since fucking when? I thought the most they could do is tell you to leave or give you a tresspassing, where's the source on what these laws are?

Can I put a noguns sign on my property and then just arrest people who have guns then for a misdemeanor and also tresspassing?

>What the fuck kind of state requires that?
Yeah, but to legally stop me from entering their business with a gun they have to occupy the equivalent of an entire commercial glass door (the 30.06 and 30.07 signs are designed to occupy an entire half individually), they have to be placed on the exterior wall or door of every entrance of the business, and they must not be occluded by advertising or landscaping. IF they fuck up any of that, including the letters being no less than 1" tall, then the signage looses legality. Our businesses have to work their asses off if they want to stop us.

In Michigan there is no provision for private "gun free" zones in the law. They can put up signs, but all they can do is press for trespassing charges if you're caught. 99.99% of the time people caught in fun free zones are just asked to leave or put their gun in their car since most businesses don't want to deal with calling the police and pressing charges.
>>
>>33601194
Forgot to say, yes I ignore "no guns" signs. If I get "found out" it'll be because I had to draw on someone.

>>
>Of course have your CCW on you carrying IWB (it conceals nicely under your shirt but if you reach or bend a certain way it could be exposed)

Unless you're 400lbs or have shit knees, you really should just squat down if you need to see or do anything below. Unless you have a small gun or you're not carrying at 3-5 o'clock.
>>
No detectors, no problem.

Signs are legally binding here, but if you can't sneak under the radar with a cc then you're not doing it right.

As a general rule I don't carry places that I am not supposed to out of courtesy business owners who make independent decisions about what goes on in their shops, but in that situation, I would just walk in, buy my soda, and walk out.
>>
>>33601194
>>33601204
Can't blame you. The only reasons they post those signs is to try to avoid liability, to virtue signal to their customers, or to give the illusion of safety to soccer moms who are worried about fully semi-automatic fire. All of these objectives are served just fine if you carry concealed and you never have to draw. And I guarantee you if you actually use your CCW in real self-defense, no DA that wants to be re-elected is going to throw you a trespass charge.
>>
>>33600164
In my state, unless it's specified like a courthouse or school property, ignore it because it's just trespassing at the owner's discretion.

assuming he is talking about Texas mandated signage, no you don't get in trouble, at all. They can ask you to leave for any reason, the sign is just saying I will ask you to leave if I am aware of you having a gun, and you must or its trespassing. Its as simple as just walking out the door and no crime has occurred. Basically if the sign doesn't 100% meet the requirements then it doesn't matter because 100% meeting the requirements is the ONLY legal definition of a sign that prevents you going in there with a gun.

I already called my representatives and told them I disapproved and I wanted them to vote against it.

However, I live in South Texas where democrats want this to pass because somehow it's supposed to protect us from drug violence and also because it's promoted by a democrat.

Two-party system is trash.

No, of course not. I would never risk a $200 fine on the off chance I got caught with a CCW that could potentially save my life.
>>
>>33600164
id just go in anyway

In missouri it isn't a crime to carry in a business that doesn't allow CCW. I just need to leave if they ask me to.

in a public place the freedom of the people using the place is more important than the freedom of those who own the place

Be careful some states, Ohio for example until recently, also all the employer to say you can't have your gun even locked in your car. Thankfully Ohio just changed that law.

They should have no obligation to serve you.

I don't think you understand freedom.

>No one is surprised because it's the land of the free
It just seems like the only people who are surprised are those from Massachusetts who come here to turn the state blue.
>>
>>33608792
if they have no obligation to serve me then they should make their business a private area where people are allowed by express permission only

lets see how long their business lasts with that model
>>
>>33608852
>I should have the right to tell people how to utilize their property

There should be a helicopter for you to fall out of somewhere you filthy communist.

You should not have the right to dictate to others how to use their rightful property.

Idk about you, but I researched it where I live (Utah). A business disallow legally handled weapons in their premises.

Utah is pretty based though.

Preparedness goes further than just carrying a gun, maybe have a plan next time before you venture out and have to make hard decisions sweetie.

>>
>>33608804
>actually, depending on the state, they have no right to kick you out on the basis of carrying alone. The signs act as a "please dont do this, i like to get robbed and raped sometimes" sign, but iys not the law. Other states, you could get charged with a felony for bringing it in. So it just depends on where you live if a certain persons outweigh a business' freedoms.
>>
>>33600164
I'd do the same thing I always do when I conceal carry any place.

Pretend to the absolute best of my ability that I am not concealed carrying.
(That's like the whole concept of concealed carrying, just FYI.)
>>
>>33608942
>I said does
With reading comprehension like that, I am not surprised your understanding of fucking everything is stunted to all fuck.

Also, I said NOTHING about whether owners or employees are allowed to carry.

Their house, their rules. If you actually owned something, you should be allowed the same freedom.

It really isn't that hard to understand you cretin.

These two. Texas has a way for businesses to alert me to their restriction on their property, and they aren't using it. Their fault, not mine.

>>33600196
In Texas they have these two very specific signs that a business can post, conveniently called 30.06 and 30.07 signs. Those are the only two signs that have legal power to stop you, aside from a special one for any business that makes 51% of its income from alcohol.

This site explains it very clearly and shortly.

What happens if the building is the only place in town that you have to go pay most of your bills and you got caught conceal carrying and you were told to leave and you ask if you can just return after taking the gun back but you are told you are literally permabanned from going back inside ever again which makes paying almost all of your bills impossible.

What do you do then!?
>>
>>33600164
if its concealed i dont see the problem. a guy looking to rob the place will probably ignore the sign. you should too.
>>
>>33600177
I know in MO, it has to be in plain view with the specific statute in question referenced. Can't just slap a "no guns allowed" sign and call it a day.
>>
>>33600991
thanks now there's coffee everywhere
>>
>>33610148
Same in AR. Law states there is a very specific wording that must be used to legally prohibit firearms on the premises. Anything else is merely a suggestion. I know several business owners that don't use the specific wording intentionally, so to discourage firearms, but not prevent those who are licensed and educated from carrying.
>>
>>33605116

Arizona doesn't have a castle doctrine?

Nobody wants to be mistaken for an armed robber because they snuck a gun into somebodies place.

TFW signs do nothing but cost them money
>>
Those signs don't hold the force of law in PA, worst case scenario they ask me to leave and if I do not I get cited with trespassing.

The consensus is to carry anyway. If caught and told to leave, politely leave. This works for all but /pol/k/ who get belligerent and antagonistic about it.

Pretty much. Remember, rights are not given, they are assumed. I believe i have the right to defend myself, my loved ones, and my property, and i have the right to carry a gun to do so.

And i believe this right superposes property rights in most places. Exceptions are places like bars and football games, but that's not a property issue, rather a safety one.
>>
>>33611879

>>
>>33600164
Just ignore it and go it.

It's not a legally binding sign, and if you're properly ccing then they wont have any idea anyways. The only thing is that if they do notice and ask you to leave as a result then you have to leave or you're trespassing, but that applies to basically any business.
>>
