Ok guys, buying my first AR15 and this ist the stuff i would put on it. I would appriciate if you could give your 2 cents about it.

Rifle will be pic related, Schmeisser M5FL
>pic related

Than i will buy:

-Raptor Charging Handle
-MBUS Pro becuase the one on the rifle are a little bit high.
-Magpul enhanced trigger guard
-MOE Grip
-Lantac Muzzlebreak
10 Lancer/Magpul mags (which are better?)
Vortex Strike eagle + Mount

What do you guys think?

I'll tell you what I think but keep it in mind I have zero experience with chest rigs.

It fits well and this particular vest is fitted for average to larger men. If you are a skeleton you will be wearing it at your thighs. It fits 6 mags and 6 more pistol mags but I yanked those because I only got 1 additional mag for my side arm. Was able to fit a pistol holster and a general bag onto the sides. Fitted it with some basic first aid.

If you just want a cheap chest rig I can not find a downside for $35. I am only interested in a plate carrier since it is the same thing but with 30lbs of life saving bullet cuckers.

The first review recommended this holster as a MOLLE attachment. It is fucking massive. There is no pistol in existence that could not fit into it. There is a velcro adjustment strap so you can size it for whatever you put in but barring a sawed off shotgun your pistol will fit.

So just to be clear, you consider condor to be airsoft gear with bad stitching?

I'll have to hold my own assumption until after a few weeks but I've been wearing it constantly (work at home) for 4 days and I have not seen any stitching problems.

If you've used condor and other products I will take your consideration to heart but given the nature of 4chan it is just as if not more likely you are on the condor hate wagon because someone told you it was airsoft gear.

I've worked at multiple paintball and airsoft fiends and as condor is pretty cheap it is extremely common. Most of their stuff that I see is torn and restitched or comes apart. I'm sure it will handle just walking around your house for months if that's all you plan on doing with it; I assumed you intended to field it or want to trust your life to it at some point.

Everyone has their different uses for gear but it sounds like a weight training rig with empty pouches would work for you too.

Dude condor is literally marketed as airsoft/paintball gear.

If you want a good chest rig, look at Blue Force Gear or just save up and get a nice Plate Carrier.

Go to Gear Queer threads and ask about gear.

That's interesting, because AR mags fit just fine in my chest rig from Condor. It's also holding up really well and is almost 2/3s the price of similar on Blue Force Gear.

It's almost like the only difference is cockfag elitism and muh blue goys use it.
>>
>>33550789
For the rig I'm specifically looking for a cheap peace of shit to hold mags, an IFAK, and possibly a pistol. I don't need it to last more than a few range trips and two /k/ meets. the PC I was probably going to get something nice off of SKD and then grab some ceramics. I just want to wait for sales because I'm 0.8% Jew which is enough.

airsoft ar magazines are super close dimensionally to actual ar mags.
That being said I seriously doubt you do anything to even remotely test your chest rig. But again if all you are doing is wearing it around the house while you sip coffee it should work fine.

Actually, for the fifth time,I've told you to buy surplus. Tried tested and cheap. I use a pattern 83 SADF chest rig for the two monthly rifle courses I take and every weekend do drills with friends for fun.

If you aren't going to use it why do you even want to get it. Might as well just get a messenger bag you can put your magazines in.

There are options that don't cost even as much as the airsoft shit you've linked but whatever.

I was talking to a ranger that said that they often didn't bother carrying sidearms because of all the other shit they were carrying unless you were carrying something with an open bolt. He said the only reason you carry a handgun in that role is to off yourself

He had said he carried a cut down 870 with a pistol grip and sometimes a recoilless rifle when I asked what else they had.

Was he for real? He seemed to know a lot about breaching and explosives and shooting posture and did SERE and all that

Yes and no. The PRO has significantly better battery life and a crisper dot (the M2 is *supposed* to have a 2 MOA dot but it distorts enough it's closer to 4 MOA), the M2 has better waterproofing by a large margin.

Both use relatively expensive and hard to find batteries. I'd be looking for a CompM3 AA model if I wasn't willing to spend on a T1 or CompM4.

I thought about getting a WAR upper but it also seems like it's adding an extra possible point of failure as well.

If I go 16" recce then I'm probably going to get a MK4 or URX 4 and 14.5" upper on this.

Although I'm tempted to go 14.5" with the KAC build and then SBR this or something too.

A shoot fast scope that can into longer range. Where I'm coming from is the old Vortex 1-4 I had with the tmcq reticle, I got it to see what i liked and i found it damn near perfect except for 3 things; overall quality- especially the image, lack of exposed turrets (which I feel bring up the level of potential precision,) and I would have liked just a touch more magnification. I don't believe it is necessary to have a 8 or 10x scope to shoot at 800+ yards, snipers worldwide used 6x scopes for years as the standard, and I am certainly no sniper. Just buy some SB Tactical Braces before you won't be able to find them anywhere if you want an AR-Pistol. Just some insider info. Can't make it any more clear than that.

Not /arg/ related but...
Thinking of going Army Reserves.
Was looking at combat medic. How does the AIT work?
After basic, do I go back home? After I ship out again for my AIT? Do I get to go home during some of my AIT Training?

Kek

How much longer are we going to have to put up with this bullshit?

This is good timing too because I've got a KAC lower I'm waiting to make an SBR out of. If I can put an adjustable stock on it and shoulder it but they call it a "brace" I'll keep the $200 and 9 month wait.
>>
>>33553217
Maybe 200 desu. I bought my M4 like 2 weeks after I finished putting that upper together and have really only been shooting my block I

>bcm stripped upper
>bcm 16" lw barrel
>12" dd slim handguard
I'd even throw in the b5 handstop and kac scout light mount as well as a bcm keymod vfg if I can find that.
>>
>>33553257
That's a good price. I'd like to buy it but I just can't. I've got too much other stuff I'm trying to do. It's a nice upper but I just don't need it.

I'll shill for you though. Hell it might grow on me and I'll pull the trigger.
>>
I need a complete upper for under $500 that is including bcg and charging handle. I will be using it for training classes and fucking around at the range.

I don't know if it comes wth a BCG tho. However it's still an excellent price for what it is.

>>
>>33551218
No plates yet but yeah I'd like some. 30lbs to stop a fatal gunshot wound in the chest seems like a small burden to carry.
>>
>>33553368
Because SB Tactical was first and have been fighting the ATF ever since the ruling to make it illegal to shoulder. Due to the way the ruling was worded because the ATF is stupid, it is SB Tactical Braces only that will be Shoulder and Fire.
>>
>>33553340
Is PSA any good? I heard that peoples CC keeps on getting hacked that buy from them.
>>
>>33553423
Oh you mean like all the other braces that people shoulder and fire even though they aren't supposed to?
>>
>>33553304
Yeah, but you're getting a Daniel Defense rail and a BCM barrel and upper receiver plus the other goodies.

You can get a BCG and CH from PSA for like $85. Hell he might even have a stock ch he'd throw in.

Besides, it's got everything people circle jerk over when it's on a GUCCI AR:

Hammer forged, CL barrel
Completely ambidextrous controls
Folding stock
Side-charging

I work in the industry you fuck. MSRP means nothing. It all depends on MAP as well as supply and demand if there is no MAP or if the vendor is not a stickler.
