I love the look of this rifle, but for me its uncomfortable to shoot. The trigger is to far from the stock where you would normally grip, I can just get the tip of my finger on the trigger. Other than that It is fun.

I do own the milled version of the rifle, but not the stamped version. I have about 700-800 rounds through it and I have not experienced any problems. The only notable thing I can think of is that every 8 mags or so, the grips screw starts to become loose, which is an easy quick fix using the cleaning kit components. I personally enjoy shooting it and carrying it around, but with mine you definitely feel the extra bit of weight on the milled receiver. The stock on mine is still pretty stiff to move and the button is very picky how far in it is pressed, but it has been getting better with oil and usage. I think I would rather have the stamped version, but other than a few minor things, I cant really complain about the milled.

With that optic it's at the perfect height so that I barely have to move my head to line up the optic with my eye when whipping the rifle up from low ready to ready, and when shooting you have much better situational awareness as you can see everything in front of you unlike when you're traditionally cranked down on a normal old red dot.

Seems pretty sturdy, not as sturdy as my obzor but it's a hell of a lot better than a trijicon RMR(since I've had the fiber-optic housing crack)

The OKP-7's housing is made of aluminum and the shield around the lense is made of spring steel with plenty of clearance for flexing

Pretty sure it's under the hammer pin, then over the trigger pin. So being under the hammer pin is most likely why it doesn't want to come out. Give it a good jiggle up and down while you pull back toward the buttstock. Before you try to install the plate, check to make sure all that jiggling didn't make one of the pins pop out slightly. They should be flush on the side of the gun with the safety/selector lever. If they are recessed a little, push them in from the other side.

I never found it to be necessary to do that when removing a retainer spring. But I got rid of my springs (and replaced them with plates) so many years ago that I can't really remember much more than I've already told you. Sorry bout that.

The threaded portion looks weird, check out how long the chamfer is on the rearmost part. The angles look too sharp, everything just looks off. There are some differences here and there with these AK-100 parts but that one looks distinctively fucky

How is Wolf Polyformance 60gr 5.45? Is there a difference between their Polyformance brand and their WPA Military Classic brand?

I bought 1500 rounds of 60gr Military Classic but was sent 60gr Polyformance instead, and the receipt says "5.45x39 FMJ 60 grain steel case Polyformance or Military Classic WPA Wolf ammo made by Barnaul".

Black polymer, it's weird because I feel like everyone was trying to take off their black polymer for a triangle but I was looking to swap my triangle after two years for black polymer.
