Like a few others, I bought one up during the recent PA sale, and I think it's a lot more comfy than my BCM CH I had previously. Nowhere on this thing is there a way to pinch your finger. I have not really gotten used to using it left-handed, but it appears to not have enough clearance from the forward assist to grip it the same way on the right side as you'd grip it on the left side. You need to modify your grip. I'm not sure if other ambi charging handles have the same issue, but something to keep in mind. Still better than not having an ambi.

building my first AR. got a cheap(er) prebuilt lower and was wondering if I should buy a prebuilt upper or just build my own? it doesn't strike me as particularly easy to fuck up, but right now my only experience with funs is tearing down and cleaning my 10/22.

The 2nd gens have 6 speed manuals and like 100 more hp and torque, except they look uglier, fatter, and are more expensive to lift.

The 1st gens have 5 speed transmissions, and wimpy 170hp/210tq motors.

There is one with a nice lift done to it already at a local dealership for about $4000 less than my WRXs value. I wonder if they would give me cash plus trade...
