You know the ATF 'accidentally' created a database of gun owners based on information they were allowed to keep, right? Someone else doing it isn't a stretch.

Just ordered a Trijicon Accupoint 3-9x40 with red triangle reticle, suggestions for mounts? I'm using it on my hunting rifle (Tikka T3 .308) and the AR so I want a QD mount.

My reasons for the QD is that, even though it's only going to switch rifles maybe twice a year, I plan on having other optics for the AR that are only zeroed for it and it would be nice to be able to switch easily if I felt like it.

Thoughts on mounts? I was imagining a Larue M4 QD but I'm open to other suggestions, just needs to be renowned for holding a zero

Only comparable truck is the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon.

Which I don't mind, except the ground clearance is only 8". Everything else is a tossup, the Toyota is probably somewhat higher quality, but over the course of 250k miles and good maintenance, I doubt it will matter, plus it will probably be a hair easier to get GM parts.

I prefer my qd levers to be on the right side to avoid snagging my anything when using a sling and drawing the gun up to aim. Really as long as there is no obstruction of the ejecting port that leads to improper function, you have nothing to worry about... other than just being weird for other reasons.

easy rig with router will run me 300 and the anderson drill set up i need a drill press and x y vise whichll run 175.
