Think about it. You're on the line, firing, what's the first thing you look at? Chamber, right? Because we expect the problem to be wat? Either empty mag, or failure to feed, which is more often than not a magazine problem.

That's why you have extra magazines. We're talking about one third of the overall shooting equation here.

Most of the recommendations you get will all be the same. You have 2 real options:

1. A plain jane mil spec lower, just get a cheap one, lots of people make them.

2. A TRUELY ambi lower, one that has a bolt release AND a bolt CATCH on the right side. Options include POF P415, American tactical, American Defense MFG, LWRC IC.

Don't spend extra on a lower without a catch on the right side, which is the most useful feature for a right handed shooter. It allows you to lock the bolt open much easier,.

Pretty good magazines overall. Easy to take apart, anti tilt followers. Material is a bit slippery but the surface texture makes up for that, especially if you're wearing gloves. Haven't had any feeding or storage issues with them. Also probably useful if you have multiple calibers of AR.

Well, first of all, you've got to know that since the first USPs they've changed some little things like firing pin, some trigger springs and giggles.
But for most of it, they're all the same. Then you've got the V1,V2 etc which are for the trigger version of the gun.

BUT THEN, you've got the special ones. Like in the precedent picture, the "normal" one is a Custom Sport which has everything of a Tactical except the threaded barrel (fixed sights were put on it by me as I prefered them), custom combat and all. They are tons of versions of it litterally, the only mag problems you could have would be having a custom combat USP in 9mm because you've got a jet funnel so you can only use special mags which are the 18rounds (if my memory serves me right).
