News:
-Spring 2016 Event has started on May 3, and will end on May 27. It is a 7 map event split into 3 parts: Initial, Expansion and Final Operations.
-Kamikaze-class DDs Kamikaze and Harukaze, Kagerou-class DD Oyashio, Zara-class CA Pola and Iowa-class BB Iowa (who first appeared in the PS Vita game) are available in this event.
-Land-based aircraft and their famed pilots have been added. They can be used with the new land-based aerial support mechanic, which can also accommodate naval aircraft. Land-based air squadrons will be able to aid your fleet at up to 2 specific nodes.
-The first part consists of 4 maps. E3 rewards Kamikaze, along with the ability to use the new aerial support mechanic.
-The second part consists of 1 map, rewards Pola, and is optional.
-The third part consists of 2 maps. The last map will reward Iowa.
-The max slot counts have been increased to 290/1260 for ships/equipment respectively.
-150+ ships get 3rd anniversary voice lines. Yuugumo, Naganami, Harusame Kai and Mizuho also get temporary Spring Bouquet sprites.
-An Asashio-class DD will get her Kai 2 this spring.
-Android lottery results are out. 250k winners will be able to access the port when it is implemented after this Spring event.

News:
-Maintenance for the Spring 2016 Event should be ending soon.
-The large scale Spring 2016 Event is themed "Combined Arms Battle" and named "Establish! Land-based Air Corps". It will be based on an "if" operation and consist of 3 parts with 7 maps total.
-Two Kamikaze-class DDs will be added this Spring event, including Kamikaze herself. Kashima and Hayasui will also drop this event.
-Friendly installations, land-based aircraft and their famed pilots are planned to be added, with the first two coming this Spring event, ranking rewards notwithstanding.
-Uzuki and Akashi drop rates in Extra Operation maps will return to normal after the next maintenance. Until then, Akashi drops in 1-5 only for those without her.
-Kawakaze gets a Kai 2 at level 75, which can equip daihatsu but not Ka-Mi. She now also drops at 2-5.
-150+ ships get 3rd anniversary voice lines, replacing Coming of Spring lines. Yuugumo, Naganami, Harusame Kai and Mizuho also get temporary Spring Bouquet sprites.
-Type 98 Night Recon plane can now be improved at Akashi's Arsenal.
-Mogami-class Kai, Ise-class Kai, Akagi Kai and Zara/Zara Kai have their stats buffed. Mogami-class Kai also have their plane counts buffed.
-BGM while browsing the kanmusu library has been changed.
-An Asashio-class DD will get her Kai 2 this spring.
-The voice lines of Pola of the Zara-class are completed.
-A new aerial system will be implemented this year.
-Android lottery results are out. 250k winners will be able to access the port when it is implemented after this Spring event.

-The first four event maps are:
