Started about a month ago, got a few DDs that can use them but if I can't progress then I guess I can just farm for the ducks.

Is 2 gins + Tank better or should I use Gun + Daihatsu + Tank for E-2? Should I bring an AACI too?

Bonuses stack for all the landing equipment.

So WG, Tank, Super Daihatsu hits the hardest during the day and is consistent in the night.

If you take 2 guns and some equipment you'll get night-time double attacks but be weaker in the day.

The enemy doesn't have much air support so an AACI is pretty much unnecessary.

So this is my second event and the first one with ship locking.

The Wiki page said that in Summer 2014 shiplocking was introduced and that ships who got locked were still able to sortie on certain other maps.

IE if you sortie a ship to E1 you could still sortie her to E2 and E7.

Now my question is: are the mechanics the same for this event? Can I sortie a ship to E1 and lock her to E1 and E2 with that? Can I use all locked ships on E7?
Or did the ship locking mechanics change for other events?
