/int/ literally is /b/ with flags. Anyone who disagrees is a redditor who came here for le ebin banter and /r/4chan screencaps. /trv/ is a far superior board if you actually want to learn about other cultures.
I can see what you're getting at and obviously it implements a lot of imageboard culture but I think /int/ is distinct from, say, /pol, which also has flags, aside from it not really being a board about politics

The mods should allow more historical and world news threads, because the ones we've had have actually been really interesting. It would be a lot better than all the shitty /r9k/ generals. The mods need to get rid of generals and allow more free flowing discussion
