we explicitly will not be keeping those. If we were keeping those I would be fine with leaving. But we are keeping none of the good stuff to get rid of a few of the perceived bad things, most of which barely affect us.

People want to get rid of immigrants, but what we will have is more non-EU immigrants. So more people who are culturally MORE different to us.

the total number might decrease, but we will still have tens of thousands, and they will be less likely to share language and culture with us. leaving the EU to control immigration is a joke, because a politician's idea of controlled immigration isn't the Rorke who voted for its idea

No, you're still wrong. The apple case is about unfair application of the law to benefit one company over others. This has nothing in particular to do with tax laws, ANY preferential treatment for one country would be illegal. The EU has no competency over the actual tax laws of a country, i.e. Irish laws won't be changing because of this case. Or in other words the EU isn't clamping down on Ireland being a tax haven. As long as Ireland applies low taxes across the board, the EU can do nothing.

You mustn't have even read that article or others on the matter because they make this quite clear.

>Let me tell you about your country. The post.

>brits don't like the EU because the EU is a non-democratic shadow government
this is partly true, but the extent that it is actually a shadow government is not something the average person knows or cares about. It isn't that democratic though, but neither is our house of lords, or our voting system.

>that has supreme control over the economy
it does not. There are certain economic rules you live by as a member, but this is not a control on the economy. If your economy is dog shit and the EU bails you out then they may insist you take certain measures in order to receive bailout funds. This is standard practice from the IMF as well.

>defense
it definitely does not. The EU has zero to do with defence. The limit of EU defence policy is EU battlegroups that you can voluntarily contribute to, and a collective border policy. States keep entirely their own foreign policy and defence policy

>and immigration
it does not. The only thing to do with immigration is free movement of EU citizens between EU states. This means that millions have come to the UK to live, but nearly 2 million UK citizens have moved abroad too. People in the UK dont like immigration, but they usually cite "places feel like New Delhi" or some shit, and none of that will change, because that immigration will continue

>seems like you're fucking wrong buddy

tell me the following:
how you know we will retain the trade we have within the EU

how it will be replaced in a beneficial way with global trade

How we will keep bringing in the healthcare professionals the NHS needs

How we will keep attracting top intellectual talent to teach at our universities

How are we going to be richer?
