They may or may not actually have it in stock and you'll have to wait several weeks to get it even after they get it in and ship it. Also their customer service a shit.

They don't have to. You see enough packages from the same shipper and you can ID them by their appearance alone, and the consignor info will confirm it even if they didn't slap their brand name on it.
For example banggood uses those grey pouches always with the same label size/format and only a couple of warehouse addresses.

Still looking for a good phone for $120. Any recommendations? No SD625 please, I heard bad things about it.
>>
>>62009997
What's bad about the 625? All I hear is good things about it.

Also, anyone tried the Bluedio T4s? Bluetooth with noise cancelling and an actually okay sound signature, looks like its only flaw is latency.
>>
>>62010023
Guys from another forum say it is lacking in power and is actually a downgrade from the SD650 of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro. It's actually slower in overall speed, from web browsing to picture taking (in low light/indoors).
>>
>>62010173
Well, it is positioned below 650, no wonder it performs worse

but for $120, 625 is actually okay, with that price you will get even slower 435

Chotto fucking matte guys!
Apparently, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5A are getting unveiled today.
It may be worth a wait! That and Jewbest "discount" on the Redmi Note 4 is the same price as it is on Ali.

>Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Specs (Expected)

>Design
>Speculation has it that the Redmi Note 5 is likely to feature the same old candy-bar design like its predecessor. However, Redmi Note 5 could be be significantly thinner in comparison to the previous generation Redmi Notes at around 7.5mm, theandroidsoul.com reports.

>Display
>The display department is most likely to feature a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD. The gaming and multimedia consumption on the phone are expected to be decent, theandroidsoul.com reports.
>Processor
>Redmi Note 5 may boast Snapdragon 630 SoC which comes as a slight improvement over the Snapdragon 625 chipset, theandroidsoul.com reports.

>Battery
>The 4000 mAh battery has been a big reason for Xiaomi Note 4’s huge success. The company has launched another phone, Mi Max 2, with 5,000 mAh battery. In Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, one may expect a better battery as that would be boasting a class apart feature by the company.

>RAM and Storage
>The company is likely to do away with the base 2GB RAM variant this time. Note 5 may only be made available only in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. It can be recalled that Note 4 came in three memory options: 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB. On the storage part, the base variant of the smartphone will get 32GB while the high-end one is likely to get 64GB of onboard storage.

>Software
>The Chinese tech giant has only recently launched Android Nougat-based MIUI 9. Redmi Note 5 is likely to be launched with the latest MIUI 9 pre-installed. theandroidsoul.com reports that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Price will start at CNY 1200 (approximately USD 180) for the base variant (3GB + 32GB). For the high variant, it can be around CNY 1,500 (approximately USD 220) for the high-end variant (4GB + 64GB).

FYI for those of you considering the AN8002/8 meters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSGLA9heboY
Each has a few features the other doesn't, and the higher count of the 8008 does come at the cost of the range ceiling and response time.

Coolpad recently released their Coolpad Cool Play 6 in India, it only has an SD653 with 6GB RAM plus 64GB and external storage and sells in Banggood for $218. It comes with JUI Android 7.1 out of the box and Coolpad promises Android 8 in December 2017.

Is this ok? It looks a lot like the Coolpad Cool 1 Dual but the biggest difference is that SD653 supports dual camera and the SD652 of Cool 1 Dual does not. This makes faster HDR photos and better low light shots for the Cool Play 6.

The solar part should have the same chance of failing as any other electronic components. You can still charge them with a power cord, though.

Don't have you "the" solar panel. Just something like https://www.aliexpress.com/item/solar/32786423694.html

>>62014537
>as an alternative?
No. As something that likely will mostly charge your smartphone + tablet or whatever while you're on the go outdoors away from power plugs.

As opposed to something that just won't suffice.

Note that if you're NOT outdoors and away from power plugs, the 20Ah Xiaomi bank will obviously have your smartphone covered without any solar panels.
You can run a decent phone off that for like 2 weeks, you'll surely manage to recharge it within that period.
>>
>>62014575
It's possible to use it for that, but I'd at the very least recommend getting another, vertically adjustable mount like:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/thing/32635897388.html
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/thing2/32790894041.html

I guess you'll find out if it's good enough for your use. But in the absolute sense, the sensor, lens and even LED are all obviously quite shit.

People coming here don't look for a 100 euros solution to their 10 euros good-enough problem.
There will always be better, more-expensive solutions to any problems.. You're missing the point of this general, you autist.

I've used Superbuy when I bought my Tada68 from Taobao. Shipping including agent fees was around 15 usd to Europe. The auto-translated listing is a bit weird so pay attention. "Black tada68 white - red axle keyboard" means black case, white backlighting and red switches. Also tea axis = brown switch, green axis = blue switch.

Tada68:
https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=537653557670

If you want to use your own switches here is the kit version for 51$:

Also if you live in freedomland you can use a guide like this to buy directly:

That would be a very clever comment if the 10 Euro solar charger thing was a good enough solution. Which for any kind of typical usage (e.g. charging tablet or smartphone on the go, maybe a lamp or dedicated GPS), it is not.

It's not even good enough when you're stationary in an off-grid house, though maybe you could use a smaller / cheaper panel then.

gift for my little sister arrived

It's not bad, a step above the very cheapest USB SNES controllers:
- The casing is a good deal stronger (but not Nintendo-tier) but the surface feels a bit weird and sticky.
- DPad can't compete with an FC30 Pro's but it's still pretty good.
- Face and shoulder buttons are fine.

I've been a fan of Bluedio for quite some time now. From what I've seen the T4 is the one with latency issues, three months later they released the T4S, a version with more bass (they implemented their vector flow tech or some shit on this pair and also on the Faith 2) and reduced latency. There is a sale on the AE Bluedio Official Store the next monday so you should probably wait until then, maybe I'll pick up the T4S or the Faith2.

Nah, only the panties that haven't arrived yet are for me.
>>
>>62015032
>>62010023
I also forgot to mention something. Bluedio is pretty comfy but it sure isn't the best sound for the money, if all you care about is sound quality then something else in the infographic might be better for you. For example, my Bluedio Air 2 ($40) is barely better than the KZ Ate ($8) but they are really comfy for situations like reading manga, taking to college or mowing the lawn, situations where I don't want a cable.

Be careful particularly if it's supposed to support any "quick" charging / proprietary quick charge technology.

Because then not only the plug can go up in flames or electrocute you, but your devices might be melted, too. Chance for fail on both ends.

The SD652 of Cool 1 Dual only has 1 ISP, it processes 1 camera at a time, you'll notice this when taking pictures in low light conditions, there's a "Dual Camera is improving image effect" message for .2 -.4 of a second depending on the amount of light present. The SD653 has dual ISP like SD820, it will be faster in processing the color and monochrome cameras at the same time. Aside from that there's no difference in image quality. Poos still say it is decent, spectacular for the price, but lack dynamic range. Which is what they also say about the Cool 1 dual ($128).

Fake entry level flashlights? Uh, they're generally non-name / irrelevant brands to begin with.

Pic related may be BG branded but exists all over the place. Typically AA / Cree Q5 and either on/off, 3 mode or 5 mode (one of them in hardware, not toggleable). The on-off variant might be what you want.

That's a good midrange light.

I'll also suggest the new firmware / XP-L hi Convoy C8. Particularly for use in and near your house, they're really great.

Any actually decent chink fitness bands? Mi band 2 is too chinky for my needs (tl;dr I'm preparing for a marathon and it's important to know if you're about to get a heart attack). I don't care for gps or making phone calls while swimming in the ocean.

Just picked up the KZ ATRs (literally 15 minutes ago). Haven't given them enough time to show what they can go, but SO FAR they seem to be just a bit better than the Fonge S500s. I'm no audiophile, but what is immediately obvious is that they are more 'clear', if that makes sense, although they are nowhere near as loud. I will have to use them for a while longer to form a solid opinion, but either way, I'm happy with what I got for the price (both ATR and S500).

ATR and ATE are fucking dope. I've been trying plenty chink ones, and expensive western ones too, and I always return to ATE myself.

Now the only issue is the cable is shit and will snap within six months. The ATE "S" have an extra protective plastic thingy on top of the memory wire, and so far, it seems it's boasted their longevity by a large degree.

It'd be hard to get some heat shrink wire wrap to fit in here, but I'd recommend you put something similar to protect the little protruding wire from each headphone, because that's where shit is gonna get ugly. Unless you're being absolutely extra careful with your headphones to the point it'd be ridiculous.
>>
>>62028089
the plastic lever WILL break as soon as you try and do anything useful with it. 100% guaranteed, got like 10 of the broken fuckers at work.

>Mi band 2 is too chinky for my needs (tl;dr I'm preparing for a marathon and it's important to know if you're about to get a heart attack).

If you're okay with having your heartrate and peak alerts on your phone, it's just a matter of using the correct app: Band Tools, Mi Band Master, Notify & Fitness for Mi Band, and some running apps like Nike+ Run Club can do it.

Ruizu X02 is the baseline for the best sound at the cheapest price. Be warned though, the UI is fucking atrocious. I mean it's manageable, and ou can flash it with the latest version that packs a couple improvements and make it more "standard", but still don't expect to easy navigate a huge unsorted collection with it, that aside it's acceptable.

Then you have a variety of memes that take you down the rabbit hoe >>62028746

Anything with at least an entry level DAC/Amp like an Actions, Rockchip or CortexM+TI combo, in which case you're starting around $20 to over $100. Below 20 is mostly USB stick players and cheap clip knockoffs which are all trash.
