I admit I lost my enthusiasm for apollo when they started having problems with image hosts. They said they were going to deploy their own system, but that problem seems to have been completely forgotten.
I know that with this kind of voluntary projects it's really easy to get sidetracked and time flies before you can get back to them, it happened to me as well, however just posting in the forums that they have no spare time for it rather than going completely silent wouldn't have made it look as bad.
The weird problems they're having with keeping their ircd up also do not inspire much confidence in the site.
