Since there were only a limited number of albums announced for the staff FL, there should be a small lowering of the S/L ratio that lasts a day or two after the staff picks were announced. It's not there. Keep in mind you will never find a tracker with more selection than slsk, but you can always make a request on PTH and it will most likely be delivered depending on how much bounty you give. Also, PTH is useful for when you want to download specific editions, classical music, or big collections (which usually are messy on slsk).
I still use mostly slsk as my way to get music, but PTH is a great back up.
