I've listened to the Baseus EL-01 for a few hours now.

ludicrous turbo nigbass, to the point that I found it almost nauseating to listen to at higher volumes. Despite the obscene bass levels it remains undistorted.
Unfortunately vocals tend to get lost in the swirling ocean of bass to the point of becoming rather indistinct. Highs are too harsh and sibilant, so I hope you enjoy wincing on every symbol crash.
I didn't test the mic because I don't give a shit about it.

The earphones themselves are metal and feel quality. The stock tips give a perfect seal in my ears and even offer better isolation than Comply knockoffs.
Everything else is shit though. The cable and strain relief material is something you'd expect to find on $1 earbuds, the jack sticks out way too far and there's a VOLUME SLIDER on the remote for no good reason since you're not going to be plugging these into any device that doesn't already have a volume control.

Well there's bassy and then there's Baseus. They really do put out a ludicrous, skull-vibrating amount of bass at the expense of everything else. The X6 is very neutral by comparison and benefits enormously from cranking up the bass (and treble) a little via the EQ. The Baseus feels a lot more comfortable and sits more flush with your head if that's important to you, and the included tips are great as opposed to the X6 ones which are worthless.

I need your advice /csg/.

I recently started a dispute claiming that VR glasses I've ordered have manufacturing defects. I asked for 50% refund and keeping the product because they're still usable.

Because of the fact that the seller didn't agree to my proposal (or, which is more likely, is on holiday and missed the deadline to respond) Aliexpress stepped in. Not only they deemed my claims right but they've also offered alternative proposal - ship the item back on the seller's dime and get the full refund.

This seems like a better idea as I would simply order new glasses that are less shitty. The problem is that I might've thrown out the manual (which was just a folded A4 sheet), foil wrappers etc. Not sure if I have the box intact. But the glasses are just like I got them.

So far, I had my ED9s for a year.
They are terrific for stringed/guitar chords (Impact).
The bass is punchy and transient (Not meaty or bloated).

On some tracks however, the soundstage can get congested and on higher volume they can get shrill.

Vivos and DZAT DF-10s have better overall detail, soundstage and sound isolation.

They both scale better in terms of Sound volume.

The Vivo XE800s fits more snugly than both.
The Vivo's bass is actually punchier than the DZAT DF-10s and you can actually feel the subbass (similar to the ED9s but more precise and faster).

It might actually edge out the DZATs on details alone (You can hear the variation in tone in vocals, cymbals & drumbeats)

The Vivos are so damn bright & a tad cold but damn they are real good.

Too bad I don't have the GR07 or VSD2 to compare the Vivos to (Same Biocellulose drivers).

I would post a review once I get them burnt in.

As a guy who worked in hardware sales I would say its a bit too low for 18v drill,even chinese, if it was 20$ price would be more believable. Its probably has nickel or Ultra house fire for power supply.
