how is my build? Is it considered a high end pc?
>>
>>58201292
Yes but it's not a 4K gay men machine
You'd be better waiting for the 1080ti unless you're fine with lowering settings
>>
Is Liquid Cooling a meme?
>>
>>58201246
I just ordered a 4790k as an upgrade from my 4690k to help with the performance of my GPU passthrough. It should be coming on Thursday. I was thinking about getting a Xeon, but the Xeon that I was looking at performed significantly worse than the i7. I should have started out with the i7, but I didn't expect to need it when I purchased it.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nCtpD8
>>
>>58201302
what would make it a 4k machine? When does the 1080ti come out?

>27" 4K
>>
>>58201312
It's a price to performance thing, liquid coolers are better in temps by slight to moderate margins, but it's more expensive. If you are okay with shelling out more money for more overclocking headroom, then go ahead.
>>
How important is CPU Slot Size?

If my current CPU is an LGA 1155, does that mean my motherboard can only fit 1155s? Would I have to get a new MB to fit 1150?
>>
>>58201324
Not him, but I have two 30 inch 2560x1600 displays, and I would still love higher pixel density. I will probably get a 27 - 30 inch 4k screen at some point. I also change the DPI on my phone to make everything smaller so that more fits on the screen, so my eyes are probably better than other people for reading small text.

Any input?

Jesus Christ this is an expensive habit. What more do I need? I've already run up to 2700
>>
>>58201320
A better gpu, a 1080 can barely hold up 30-60fps at 4K maxed. Here's one of many benchmarks saying that the 1080 isn't good enough for 4k and that the Titan X(P) hits 40-80fps at 4K maxed
http://www.babeltechreviews.com/titan-x-vs-gtx-1080-25-games-tested-4k-2k-1440p/3/
>>
>>58201356
Or maybe you're too close to the screen
>>
>>58201381
And the 1080ti is the same GPU as a Titan XP just with a few core packages lasered off and then overclocked, which is why I'm equating the Titan XP to 1080ti for gay men
>>
>>58201347
Yes. It's called the socket, each mobo only fits one socket.
>>
>>58201392
It is near the back of my desk on a 4 monitor mount. I just like having a lot of room on the screen, which is why I also use i3 as my WM, because it does not waste much space, and I can use tabs.
>>
>>58201420
There's some cross compatibility between LGA 1150/1151 if I remember right
>>
Is DDR3 still viable? Do new mobos support it?
>>
>>58201427
I could be wrong, but I've never heard of it being so and a few seconds of Google came up with nothing.
>>
>>58201463
There's a cross compatibility between some of the 115(X) sockets, I dont remember which ones but I'm pretty sure it's a thing
>>
>>58201449
Skylake and (I think) Zen use ddr4. I think they also support ddr3L, but regular ddr3 runs at too high of a voltage so it's not officially compatible. But it's shiny and new and faster, go ddr4.

Jesus Christ man. You have one of these? You make six figures?
>>

At 4k you also don't need as many filters though, and if you turn those off you can probably get it looking very nice at 4k and 60fps.

No but 1080ti is expected to be $800+
A pretty good cut from the $1200 Titan XP
>>58201561
True, for example MSAA or other anti aliasing won't make much of difference on a 4K 27" screen

so does this mean my 1080 will suffice?

Who wanted 4K gay men?
I'm at 1440p and 144hz, $1100 for the PC if I 'member right, and $500 for the monitor, all it US burgerbucks. 4K high graphics gameplay is just expensive to do right now
>>
>>58201660
is the 1080 really that incompetent to run 4k? Its can still pull a stable 60 fps right? There's no way everyone running 4k has a 25oo dollar gpu in their system
>>
>>58201660
And don't even think about the prices of the next few years' hardware in high-Hz 4K games. With GPU progress slowing down and demands speeding up, it's gonna be a shitshow to achieve that.
And then on top of that President Dolan is gonna make foreign products (as in all technology) highly taxed.
Tech prices are about to get much higher

>>
i am of the opinion that 4k is an overpriced meme. change my view.
>>
>>58201719
I don't know, I don't have one. But by the benchmarks I'm sure you'll need to comfortable with running slightly lower settings even with a 1080 if you want 60Fps
Or you could wait for a 4K gsync monitor to exist and be pretty much fine with lower fps, but honestly anything can run 4K 60hz if you turn it down enough
I just think the 1080ti sounds like it'll be much more ready for 4K game
And outside of games or rendering programs demanding on your GPU, you'll be 100% fine running 4K 60hz
>>
>>58201737
Australia dawg. Also I was told a B150 is all I require for my needs and after research I tend to agree.
That motherboard has a few more features than a typical B150 and a Z170 would be overkill for me
>>

>>
>>58201818
OK, but would you say that 4k jusr for games is an overpriced meme
>>
>>58201786
Well ive played console before so I guess I can do without full 60 fps... what do you think? I just cant get a 2,000 graphics card right now and it looks like the ti wont be out until well next year
>>
>>58201932
I would. 1440 and 120-144hz is perfect.
>>
>>58201942
Just buy a 1080. If you ever feel like it you can get another in a year or two for sli.
>>
>>58201942
I can't speak for you of course, but personally, I (and many other PC players) would much, much prefer a lesser graphical display in exchange better FPS. Trust me, on PC, you value frame numbers more than quality, you need them for quick reaction times and such, plus it's just more satisfying and smooth. I'd just get a 1440p display if i were you, the 1080 can crush games at that setting.

Here's one that's cheaper than your current picked monitor, and has G-Sync and a very high refresh rate:

with a c2d E6400 2.13ghz dual core
2gb of ddr2
80gb hdd
windows vista business

im gonna upgrade it to a xeon 3075, 4gb of ddr2 and two 500gb hdd's in raid 1, with an ati radeon 3450 256mb gpu, and some ricer shit for the lols

just a project machine, gonna paint the shrouds, replace the fans with red ones, install led's, plastidip the inside black, got some ram head spreaders, gonna maybe, if i can figure out where to get one, do a 92mm AIO
but theyre fucking rare

any thoughts on other things i could do with something like this?
its only for fun, hence why i bought a c2d era system for the express intent to rice it out

Intel shoved microcode that disabled that on the bios for motherboards.

Pic related is my current build (Except running Windows 10). Looking to bite the bullet sometime soon and upgrade my GTX 770 (2gb vram is killing me) to a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1070 Windforce Gaming 8gb. Anyone got a similar card at the moment? Any criticisms or advice there? Listed on umart for $569 atm. (I'm in Aus)

Running two monitors and current games (Just got Titanfall 2) on higher settings is dropping me below 60fps too often for my liking and running in the 50ºc's - 70ºc's. Also doesn't help that I'm looking at replacing one of my screens with a 27" sometime soon too.

Next on the list would be looking at upgrading my CPU as it runs close to, if not max most of the time. Someone recommended looking at an i7 6700k. Any suggestions or criticisms there? I haven't looked too much into this one yet.

Upgrading being the slippery slope it is, further down the track I'm considering a new case, and 16gb ram too but those aren't too urgent.
>>
>>58202249
You should probably use a usb wifi adapter instead of a pci one, it will bring down the 1070 to 8x.
>>
>>58202265
well its a non-big brand psu, its only 520w and only bronze certified

you can get a semi modual corsair cx 550m for about 60$
for 99$? you can get an extremely nice rm 750x, which is a fully modular, 80+ gold psu
>>
>>58202318
If you're going to upgrade your cpu don't bother getting more ram, as you'll have to buy ddr4 ram when you do that anyway.
>>
>>58202321
I'm retarded, please explain?
the mobo has two PCI-E x16 (which the GPU takes) and two PCI-E x1 (which the card takes), how'll it bring the GPU down and what are the cons of that?
>>
>>58202318
GPU wise a 1070 would be a good fit, definitely enough to do just about anything dual 1080p, i think it would work just fine for you

50's to 70's really isnt that bad, 70 is consider the "reasonable limit" for a cpu, its ok for a GPU

the CPU is still a decent little chip, but it will be a bottleneck with a 1070
i dont suggest a 6700k, its really a bit excessive for the average gamer, and an i5 6600k would be a much more reasonable option, that wont be a bottleneck nor be bottlenecked by a 1070, and give you alot of room to spare with overclocking in the future, or if you move to 1070 sli within the next few years

single channel ddr3 is kinda meh, but if youre upgrading to the lga 1151 platform with an i5 6600k, or i7 6700k, you can get dual channel ddr anyway, i suggest going with a 2x4 gb kit, and upgrading by adding another 4gb stick or two if you need it in the future

or to absolutely future proof your ram, go with a single 8gb stick and add 8gb sticks as you need them, but to start, 2x4gb would be good for dual channel ddr4
>>
>>58202318
Also if I'm looking at upgrading said components, would my SeaSonic M12ii 650w 80+Modular PSU survive?
>>
>>58202210
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/svzvsJ
I recommend you get a used monitor for 50-70 bucks, there's nothing wrong with it, you could save or invest that money in other parts.
>>
>>58202371
a motherboard and processor have a limited amount of "lanes" that it can accept in the form of data through all pci-e slots

the more lanes a slot can use, the faster data transfer is
however, this is limited by the cpu and motherboard, so while all the pci-e slots in your motherboard are there, so a x16 slot will run as x16, a x8 as x8 etc, the cpu can only work with so many lanes at a time, and will spread out the data speed limit among different devices plugged in

so for example, say you have a motherboard with two x16 slots, both will run x16 with one gpu
but when you plug in two, your cpu and mobo may limit you to one in x16, and one running in x8

this affects different kinds of cards in different slots, so you having a pci-e wireless card may reduce your x16 slot to effectively a x8 slot

Unsure about whether or not the PSU is too little or too much, I've had some calculators tell me I'd need anywhere from 300W to 600W so I've gone with something bigger to compensate for that. Any other general input would be appreciated.

I guess this would be an ok place to ask. So I'm upgrading my laptop and doing some basic maintenance on it, as it's over 5 years old now. I've already found the RAM and battery I want. Now I need storage and thermal paste. Is there any thermal paste I should invest in or should I just keep buying the generic tube of whatever? How about storage. What's a good 1TB HDD for under a hundred bucks? I need one that won't shit itself in 3 years.
>>
>>58202403
yeah, a 6600k or 6700k and a 1070 will be just fine on a 650w seasonic

with those kinda parts, even overclocked youre looking at maybe 500w used for the entire system under full load, which would almost never happen anyway
>>
>>58202435
alright, whew, that would've been pretty uncool to learn about now. thank you anyways.
>>
>>58202408
Do you need the case fan or does it not come with one?
Also a video card isn't a major priority at the moment. I don't play many games on PC other than emulators hence the CPU, so going cheap on that for now isn't a big deal.
Also, do you know if you need to get separate tray things for HDDs to install them in the PC? I was going to take the 500GB one from my old laptop and use that for general storage.
>>
>>58201246

not the anon you're reffering to, but that case comes with a single 120mm exhaust, a 120mm intake in the front is worth the 5 foreign dolaryoos, balanced air pressure is better than negative air pressure

as far as the trays go, the case should come with all the trays it needs, if it doesnt, bitfenix is a bitch, and im sure you can order them online, but they should also be able to just screw right into the case

your laptop has a 2.5" drive and the case has 3 2.5" bays so youre good there

Asking here cause my google isn't fruitful -

I did a fresh install onto an SSD and now when I install gpu drivers, it tells me it was successful, but they don't actually do anything. Ie, can't set refresh rate, graphics tool doesnt work, 2nd monitor isn't detected. I see nothing suggesting an error. Device manager sees my card by name, drivers are all installed, etc.

Weirdest part is that it's the same driver and components as before, all I did was install the same OS fresh on an ssd. Honestly have no clue.

Also tried several different driver versions. No luck. Any ideas?

oh shit, danm wasteland tax

it will be fine, especially if youre only using 250w

its just generally reccomended to get high quality power supplies, while antec is far from "bad", theyre not a mainstream brand and arent popular on /g/ because its generally preferable to get a higher 80+ rating

but with 250w, any efficiency rating will be fine, as youre not drawing anywhere near that psu's capability to begin with, so you wont need to worry about heat or wasted wattage

https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp%5B%5D=2570&cmp%5B%5D=1921&cmp%5B%5D=2565

there is a very small difference, and a 6700k would be better than the i5 but what youre looking for with a cpu upgrade here isnt just the cpu performance

the newer lga 1151 cpu's come with alot of other important things, namely DDR4 ram over ddr3, m.2 slots, usb 3.1, more pci lanes, all together is going to increase performance by quite alot

the 6600k will be enough, and will pair well with a 1070

a 6700k will be about 100$ more and will be bottlenecked by a 1070, not much, but by a bit

currently the 6700k and 6850x and all that shit are well above the current gaming gpus, including the 1080

the 1080ti may change that though
>>
>>58202577
generally, if you're just gaming, you don't really require anything above an i5. if you're a content creator or something of the like, you'll want an i7.
>>
>>58202624
further on 6600k vs 6700k, to tl;dr it a bit

if youre going to be dominantly gaming, you will next to no difference

if you do things that are much more cpu bound, such as video or photo editing, 3D rendering or video encoding, get the 6700k or better, because you will use it

but for gaming, an i5 is plenty

No idea how demanding the stuff you do is. If you don't need a dedicated GPU you could invest that money into an i5 and higher quality parts, see: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/bGBvsJ
Better mobo, cooler is optional but Intel stock cooler sucks big time, HDD is removed since you have one, Tt H15 is a nice case and Be Quiet! fans are... well, quiet.
With that PSU you still have headroom for a entry level GPU, if you want a better GPU i recommend you invest 5-10 bucks more into the EVGA 500B.

short answer no, long answer maybe

for 170$ youre not gonna get much new, it can get you a decent shitpost machine and stuff for a few generations old gaming and youtube and shit
youd be looking at something like a pentium G, the cheapest lga 1150 mobo you can find, a single 4gb ram stick, a chinkshit psu and whatever case you can get under 20$, no video card

you could get an athlon 5350 setup for a bit cheaper and that can get you 30fps med/low 720p gaming

if youre willing to save over time, you can start with decent stuff and buy larger components as you get the money for it, starting with a cpu/mobo, 4gb of ram and later getting another 4gb stick, more storage, a gpu, etc

even cheaper if you buy used stuff and get lucky on sites like ebay, or locally on craigslist and shit
an option is to start with an lga 1150 optiplex with a shitty celeron or whatever, in atx format, so you can add more ram for cheap, upgrade to higher end lga 1150 processors, and add a proper gpu and better power supply

hm, maybe you'd be good in selling your 4k display and buying a 1080p/144hz or 1440p/60hz monitor and saving up for a 1070 or something if you really wanna make use of it (unless you're vehemently #teamred, in which case wait for Vega). I'm assuming you have an old monitor lying around as well, so you could probably save up for a better GPU by selling your current monitor and using your old monitor in the meantime.

Here's a 1080p/144hz that is around 100 dollars cheaper than your monitor (probably, unsure of the MSRP of yours, but someone on ebay is selling for ~330 dollars): https://pcpartpicker.com/product/PmyFf7/acer-monitor-umfg6aab01

If you wanna keep the 4k monitor and stick out for a better GPU, my understanding is that Vega will be able to do 4k really well, so you could probably wait for that. Until then just scale down the res on your games (If you think your parents hearts would be broken if they realized you weren't using your monitor, It's probably better to do this option).

Keep in mind I'm anything but an expert so take what I say with a grain of salt.

4K has essentially just become kinda viable at the high end, as such it's pretty much the most expensive target you can set. If you want 4K with what is currently out on the market, you want 1080 SLI. Titan XP SLI actually wouldn't hurt, but the price on those things is absurdly ridiculous so I wouldn't actually suggest that. You can also wait for better cards to come out, but I seriously can't see anything short of Volta/Navi bringing 4K 60FPS in the single-GPU range. 1080Ti is going to be Titan XP level at best and it's not fast enough for 4K single GPU. Vega will either hit in the 1080 ballpark or 1080Ti most likely, I can't see it being much faster than a Titan XP.

Also I speak from actual experience and not from reading other people's charts.

There's not much reason to upgrade a Haswell i5 to a Skylake i5, the IPC gain is like 5% or some shit. I guess it could make sense if the Haswell i5 is shit at OC, but a 4670k running 4.6GHz+ should be fine for pretty much anything with a single 1070.

>>58202318
Before spending a lot to upgrade your entire platform to Skylake you should try to OC that 4670k. A Skylake i5 will not bring you anything significant. Your RAM is a bit on the slow side though, not that it matters much in most situations but 1333 RAM is quite slow, in certain situations faster RAM like 2133/2400MHz DDR3 could make a difference. You're also running single-channel, that could also affect things somewhat.

I really wonder where you're getting that understanding. All the Vega leaks we've had (DOOM and AotS - both AMD titles) put it around GTX 1080 level and a GTX 1080 most definitely does not do 4K well, not new games. Even if we go full optimism and say Vega is going to be Titan XP tier, it still won't get you 60+ FPS at 4K in new games.

A GTX 1080 pretty much does 60FPS 4K in DOOM, as long as it doesn't thermal throttle. It has very, very similar performance to what AMD has shown, slightly less most likely but not by much. Meanwhile in other games you get 30-40FPS. That performance level is not enough for 4K by a long shot.

>>58203970
The best one (z170 for socket 1151) supports overclocking, so if you buy a k-branded processor you'll have to get z170 mobo too. Otherwise it only affects the number of sata ports, usb headers and other connectors.

>>58203974
You mobo can support usb 3.0 but your case only has 2.0 connectors. So you won't get 3.0 speeds out of those ports. I don't get why you'd buy a case with 2.0 ports in 2016.

Stupid question incoming: Will buying a Windows 8.1 prevent me from getting an "Activate your copy of Windows now" message every few hours?

Context: Decided to be a jew and try to save some money by using an OEM copy for my build since the OEM copy was cheaper than the retail version. A day or two after installing the OEM version, I get blue screens with an "Activate Windows now" message that takes me to a screen asking for another product key since the one I used initially was no longer valid. It pops up randomly, but regularly, and often at the most inconvenient of times.

Is there a way to disable this "feature?" If not, then assuming I buy a $20 Windows 8.1 key from one of the usual sellers, and input that key, will the OS leave me the fuck alone?
>>
>>58204027
Looks like the only real difference between my build and the one you posted is that I selected the GTX 1050 Ti and you chose the MSI RX 470. It seems to me the 1050 Ti is a better deal. What do you think?

Does that mean I have 6gb vram to use, or is it 3gb x 2 because it's dual and acts like SLI where you get twice the speed but the data is mirrored?
>>
>>58204130
Huh. Well yea it seems 2133 is the fastest it supports. I guess that's because it's a budget chipset. You can buy faster but it will just be throttled, so there isn't any point. In any case, ram speed isn't all that important.
>>
>>58204124
During sales, RX 470 can drop down to 159.99.
The highest priced 1050ti is 169.98 or so right now.

If I were you, I'd wait and save up the extra cash, it's really worth it.

is the 480 really worth the extra cash over the 470? difference seems fairly small and the 470 would probably run quieter and cooler

what reason would you buy a 1060 (3gb or 6gb) over either of those cards

Ditching my old shitty Alienware for a custom built PC. Replacing everything except for my Hard-Drive which I want to transfer to my new computer. How do I do this without screwing up my current Windows install w/ the new motherboard? I've heard some people have luck with just throwing the old Hard-drive into the new computer and it works out but I've also heard people say that doesn't work.

What do? I no longer have a W7 key since Alienware doesn't let you use the key on non-dell computers or something so I really don't know where to start with this shit.

Reposting this from the stupid questions general:

Should my set up be doing as bad as it is?

I have an HD 7870 as my GPU, 8gb of RAM and an AMD 6300 processor. I built this PC about 4 years ago so I don't expect it to be a supercharged machine, but I'm having trouble doing the simplest of tasks. After Effects and Premiere are torture to work with, I keep getting low memory warnings and programs keep crashing and I just tried to play Doom on medium settings with everything turned down and it's still glitching out every two seconds.

Should I think about upgrading or does this sound like something that could be fixed?

Hueg poorfag from down under here.

Recently splashed and got myself a STRIX RX 480, wouldn't fit in my mid tower but for some reason when I was looking in the basement for tin snips I found the guts of an old case that was just big enough for the 480. I think it was an old Gigabyte machine's case.
Anyway it's awful, there's nothing but the most basic metal structure (fuck knows where the rest is), the PSU is at the top and my 480 sits an inch off the base of the case, I'm currently flopping my drives out the back of it.

Can any airflow masters give tips for cooling a shell of a case? I have an old Proliant ML 350 G4P I stole from work full of deltas sitting in the basement so I have access to some decent fans.
Do I just duct tape some to the front and some to the back? Pull from front, push out back? Am willing to tape shit anywhere btw.

Also my 8320 appears to be bottlenecking games, I get nasty usage spikes on the 480, I've managed to overclock it to 4.3Ghz but it heats up SUPER FAST and frames are back to shit.
I need a temporary solution because the 480 emptied my spending account.
But I'm looking at throwing $250 dollarydoos at liquid cooling and a nice case in a month or so, any recommendations?

>>58204368
I've got a friend with a similar build (except 4 core fx), he manages Premiere fine and doing some pretty intensive tasks with it too. Consider a reinstall of your OS.

Going to upgrade my GPU to 1070 G1 Gaming - any opinions?

Currently running GTX 760, i5-4670k and 8GB RAM.

Is it worth upgrading my motherboard, CPU and RAM to 16GB DDR4?
Or should I keep my current motherboard and simply upgrade my 8GB DDR3 RAM to 16GB DDR3 RAM?

My motherboard: H87-HD3

Also my monitor is LG IPS234v (1920 x 1080 60Hz) - I'm assuming it would be a waste to keep it with the 1070? What should I upgrade to?

Basically -

>Spec me a 1070 (if G1 Gaming is trash)
>Spec me a monitor (if having 1070 with my current one is a waste)
>Spec me Mobo/CPU/RAM if I should upgrade to DDR4 & next gen CPU

I'm getting a 1440p 144hz monitor with a 1070 and I rationalize it with the following:

>You're not always going to play games that struggle to acheive 60fps@1440p
>Even if you're not getting 144hz, even getting FPS in the ranges 70-100 will feel like a big difference, especially if you have a monitor that supports g-sync/freesync.
>144hz makes for a very fluid windows experience.
>Older games will run like butter
>If 1080p/144hz is a better choice for certain games you can always change to 1080p
>Games are often benchmarked at the highest settings. You can always turn down graphics to get more frames.

Where is it on sale? Been looking to get one cheap

If something new releases within two or so months it's pretty much the best thing to buy, considering i'm also going for a 200~ bucks or so CPU and the mobo will be pretty much up to date as well.

I ordered them from a store 3 hours away today, my family is coming up tomorrow from that city, they've already picked up the parts and are bringing them over.

Comfy, even downloaded all the drivers already.

Oh I was thinking of the U2412M which is a bit pricier
How does the H compare?

No idea. My own question was if the U2414H was any good.

Is anyone got a Be Quiet! Dark Base 600?

Is it a decent case?

I want to build a quiet non-oc rig. As much passive cooling possible, so it's as quiet as possible when not on load, any recommendations for cases?

I am a sucker for the orange highlights look. At the moment my local pc place only stock the windowed version, but I want to make sure it is non-windowed so all the sound is dampened.

I'm getting the Silent Base 800 for an audio production setup.
Some people have told me I could get a cheaper case but basically everyone has only positive things to say about it.
Only problem is cable management can be tricky but I don't mind just using a few more zip ties

Isn't the Silent Base 800 quiet old "tech" compared to the 600? Came out in like 2014.

But I think 600 is recycled 800 body, but yeah cable management on mid tier cases from 2-3 years ago just seem lack luster, they also have unnecessary amounts of drive cages.

GPU tweak

I can get an i5-6400 for 179€, the 6500 for 202 and the 6600k (which I don't think it's the most viable since it would need a better mobo) for 227€ I think.

What one do I get? I'd be pairing it with a 1060/480. Also, it's mean to be a kinda future proof PC and won't have almost any part changed for years except maybe add storage and maybe more ram, maybe sell the GPU and get a new one after 3 years.

So, would the 480 be a better option? I'll play on 1080p/60Hz.

My target is 900€ at most in Spain, which is a little difficult to get since all the shit is overpriced here (the GPU will be likely to be 320€ easily unless I get a shitty brand).

I don't know if I should pull the trigger to an i3. I want at least the i5.
Here is what I made a month ago. I have to check it all again and change some stuff. http://es.pcpartpicker.com/list/D2RckT

>6600k for 227€
That's a good price, that CPU cots 240-250€ in Germany. If games is all you do, then the 6500 will be your best bet, stay away from the 6400. The 6600K is only an option if you want to OC.
>So, would the 480 be a better option? I'll play on 1080p/60Hz.
RX480, GTX1060 6G.. it's up to you. Personally i'd get the cheaper option.

>>58208497
i'd get i5 6500
for 6600k you also need z170 and an aftermarket cooler.
get cheaper 2133mhz ram, h110m don't support higher frequencies.
480/1060 will both handle 1080p, but unless gtx 1060 is much cheaper i'd suggest the 480.

OK, I'll try to get the 6500 then. I'll try to remove/change some shit from the list to fit 900€. I'll probably get the 480 too. Thanks, anons.
