I don't own it. I own this http://www.ebay.com/itm/172253294512 and it has the same Burr-Brown chip with capacitors so it won't damage your headphone drivers. Burr-Brown chips are the best look at high-end DACs that use PCM1704 which is nearly discontinued and will cost $100 a chip when stocks dry out.

There's something wrong with calling a sound card, a DAC.

DAC is a generic term for a digital-to-analog converter, it doesn't have to have anything to do with audio.
And what you were talking about was a sound card. Something that is able to communicate with some bus of your computer like USB in this case. Typically includes analog out with the help of a DAC, analog in with the help of an ADC, and conversion to other digital formats like S/PDIF.

Basically calling a sound card a DAC is like calling a car an engine.

works out of the box with eGPU so I have a mini gigabyte GTX 970 that can be powered by the Dell PSU you can get from gaybest with the EXP GDC eGPU adapter. it uses the mPCIe for wifi so i got a buffalo 5ghz mini usb adapter

Comparison time!
Cube body: These two cubes use a different type of plastic for the body, the one on the left feels more "velvety" is the best way I could describe it. Fit of the two cube halves is excellent on the left cube, while there is a bit of play on the right cube if you push it in the right place.
Thumbstick: There is a little indentation in the middle of the thumbstick on the right cube, on the left cube that indentation is not there, indicating possibly a different mold for the thumbstick.
Disk: Seems identical although on the left cube it's a bit looser. Probably a QC issue.
Switch: the one on the left uses a different switch which is worse than the one on the right. The click when you use the switch of the left cube isn't clean, and I don't like that.
Buttons: the 5 buttons on the left cube are ALL clicky which is awesome. That was my main gripe with the right cube, those "silent" buttons were mushy and I hated them.
Ball bearing: the left cube has a tighter fit on the ball bearing which is worse, but it will most likely break in with use.
Gears: the left cube's gears sound different than the right cube's, but the look and feel is the same.

I can't tell if the new cube is an actual counterfeit or possibly those "changes" the fidget cube company said they were making to stop counterfeits, but it's definitely different in a few key areas that are definitely not quality control-related.

When do you guys rev up your disputes? I have 9 days of purchase protection left and it hasn't arrived

The guts of the kb, it was pretty easy to open, just take off some screws, I didnt realize there was one last screw under a sticker and I forced it a bit too much but it took it like a champ and didnt broke, props for that.

Grab a copy of Falcoboot or spinrite or Hirens and run spinrite on the disk. You're checking for a bad HDD.

sometimes vendors patch the firmware via drivers page and batteries end up working much better afterwards

grab the synaptic touchpad driver or whatever the chinkpads drivers are for touchpad, then go to mouse settings and disable the touchpad and use a mouse. Maybe make a shortcut to it so can enable or bind it to the keyboard.
If you cannot do these things already, I recommend you install Windows, learn there first, then run a linux VM using Oracle Virtualbox. It will reduce the difficulty of hardware while you are still learning.

Also amazon has new (hard drives) SSDs at $30 a pop for 60GB that will probably fit that book.
